The private beach at the house was perfect for a toddler to play and explore especially at low tide when a whole collection of seashells can be found.
Rosa rugosa flowers overlooking the view of Wellfleet Harbor
About a 10-minute walk to Indian Neck Beach where we could view Wellfleet Harbor, watch boats and windsurfers and was a great place to fly a kite!
It was just a short drive up Route 6 to Ballston Beach in Truro. Parking was never a problem at any of the Wellfleet or Truro beaches we visited. Parking stickers aren't required generally until the 3rd week of June.
A perfect beach day in May and we practically had the beach to ourselves.
Picked up lunch from Sunbird food truck on Rt 6 on the way home from the beach. The fish tacos and porchetta sandwich were delicious.
Walking home after a day at the beach (Indian Neck Beach)

Plenty of good restaurants in Wellfleet - we enjoyed this Portuguese stew from the Bookstore...
and a lobster roll from Moby Dick's.
Strolled thru the shops of Wellfleet center and bought fresh oysters from Hatch's Fish Market for shucking at home. The best oysters we've ever had!
Spectacular sunsets often ended the day
