About Witches On the Water Costumes SUP Fundraiser...Witches on the Water 2024: Paddle in Style and Make Waves for Cape Cod!
Chatham, MA – Get ready to cast a spell of support for Cape Cod at the Witches on the Water 2024 Costumed Paddle Event! Join us on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at Oyster Pond in Chatham, Massachusetts, for a day of enchantment and community spirit. Now in its fourth year, this magical fundraiser invites participants to combine their love of stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) with festive Halloween fun, all while supporting local charities.
Supporting the Cape Cod Community: Witches On the Water is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on Cape Cod. The event raises funds for local charities selected by the Witches On the Water Board of Directors. Each year Witches On the Water chooses a different local organization to highlight and support.
This year's beneficiary charity is Dream Day on Cape Cod. Located in Brewster, MA, Dream Day provides a week of camp and respite support for families with medically fragile children.

• Witchy Paddlers: $50 registration fee; minimum fundraising of $250 required
Participants paddle through Oyster Pond in their most imaginative witch-themed or magical creature attire. Following the paddle, enjoy a lively party featuring live music, local food trucks, and a chance to win exciting raffle prizes, including a stand-up paddle board!

Founded in 2019 by Cape Cod residents Jo-Ellen Erickson and Susan Price, Witches On the Water started as a fun gathering of paddle-boarding friends. Witches On the Water has grown to be a major Cape Cod fundraising event. Since the inaugural event in 2021, Witches on the Water has raised over $80,000 to support Cape Cod organizations.
