About Tuesday Talks: C. L. Fornari: Restoring Horticulture to Popular Culture...
Join us at 5PM on Tuesday, May 13, to listen and learn from C. L. Fornari about horticulture and plants for our May, 'Tuesday Talk'. Fornari will speak with attendees about creative gardening tactics to transform—as she so wonderfully puts it—'h
orticulture into popular culture'. She will tell us about her engaging career as a public speaker, advocate, and author as well as about the eight books that she has written, and her upcoming book projects about Hydrangeas and the growing multitudes of Poison Ivy plants on Cape Cod.

Biography:

C. L. Fornari is a creative gardening expert (self-proclaimed 'plant geek') who transitioned from artist to garden communicator in 1995. She is the author of eight books and has more upcoming projects that she hopes to publish soon. She speaks at horticultural trade shows, garden clubs, botanical gardens, master gardener symposiums, alumni/women's groups, and neighborhood associations. In addition to speaking, radio, and writing, Fornari blogs and does educational events for Hyannis Country Garden, an independent garden center on Cape Cod.

She has been awarded and recognized for her work in writing, blogging, and advocacy. She has also launched the first Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. She loves children, cooking, and dogs. She says that you can never go wrong with the color purple. We cannot wait to hear her speak!
