Summer Groove

About Summer Groove...The Nantucket Boys & Girls Club’s Tim Russert Summer Groove will be held August 17, 2013 on the fields of the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. Luke Russert is the Master of Ceremonies, carrying on the tradition of his late father, Tim.
Since it's inception in 2002, the event has grown to become a highlight of the summer social calendar by featuring a sparkling evening of fine food, fun music and incredible generosity with over 500 attendees. Past performers include Booker T & the MG's, Jerry Lee Lewis, KC & the Sunshine Band, the Temptations, the Beach Boys, Soul Sound Revue and Soho and District 21. Stay tuned for the announcement of this year's talent. The event begins with a cocktail hour including specialty cocktails, passed appetizers, sushi bar, raw bar and more. The entertainment begins following the sit down dinner.
