About Sandwich Boat Parade...The Sandwich Boat Parade has been around since the late 1800's! The Boat Parade is comprised of small boats and canoes decorated in creative ways using paper lanterns illuminated by candles. The boats parade by the bandstand for all to see, and for the Recreation Department and Recreation Committee to select the evening's winners.
