About Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Weekend Open House at New Home of Sandwich Arts Alliance...The Sandwich Arts Alliance invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of their new home at 124 Route 6-A with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 31st at 11 am. The ceremony will be followed by guided tours from 12-5 pm. The Alliance (SAA) will also be holding an open house both Saturday and Sunday, June 1st and 2nd from 10 am to 5 pm, featuring art on display and for sale, painting demos, and kid’s activities.

The SAA recently signed a two-year lease on the building formerly occupied by Modern Vintage, adjacent to the former location of Splash Stationers.

At the weekend open house a special full-sized Adirondack chair, painted and decorated by an Alliance artist will be on display and up for raffle, and kids can paint mini Adirondack chairs as part of the SAA summer Adirondack Chair Trail activities.
