About Quartett Giocosa Concert...Quartett Giocosa, a string quartet comprised of members from the Cape Cod Symphony, will be performing Franz Schubert's String Quartet #14, "Death and the Maiden" which depicts a young woman's struggle to free herself from the specter of death, J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor and Moussorgsky's Night on Bare Mountain among others. They will also present the American premier of a work by Norwegian composer Andreas Aaser entitled Norwegian Danse Macabre.
