Magical Holiday Concert with the Solstice Singers

About Magical Holiday Concert with the Solstice Singers...The Sandwich Arts Alliance is excited to present The Solstice Singers in "The Holly and the Ivy," a pageant of carols and songs, instrumental music, drama, dance and poetry in the style of the Renaissance. The concert takes place at 1 pm on Sunday, December 11th on the Glass Town Stage at Sandwich Town Hall. Admission is $20 online at www.sandwichartsallaince.org, at the SAA Art Center, 124 Route 6A, Sandwich, or at the door.

Performed in colorful, period costumes, the program is a celebration of Christmas and the winter Solstice, woven around the ancient symbols of holly and ivy. The Solstice Singers will be joined by members of Ensemble Passacaglia, an early music instrumental consort performing on beautiful period instruments.
