Cape Cod Doxie Day

About Cape Cod Doxie Day...The 16th annual Cape Cod Doxie Day, will celebrate everything dachshund in Barnstable Village, Cape Cod on September 28th, 2024 from noon til 3pm.There will be lots of fun things planned including dachshund races, a parade featuring rescue dogs from Paw Affection Dachshund Rescue, contests and prizes for longest dachshund, owner/pet look-alike and more. The Cape Cod Ukulele Club will perform and lead a sing-a-long of the official Dachs Song.  Shop unique vendors, meet local animal organizations and rescues, food trucks, games and prizes. All well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Admission is free, with plenty of free parking and accessible for people and pets of all abilities.2024

To celebrate Doxie Day's sweet 16 there will be an After Party and specialty beer release at Cape Cod Beer from 4pm til 8pm.
