About First Friday...
Starting July 2, Vineyard Haven's First Friday invites all ages to an evening of art, music, shopping, food, and inspiration to celebrate Vineyard Haven from 4 to 11 pm on Main Street and Owen Park. This year, First Friday is a cornerstone event of the town of Tisbury's 350th anniversary. The event is free, with activities for all ages.
Then from 7 to 9 pm, Music on a Barge happens at Owen Park. Dance and picnic while enjoying the tunes of local bands and musicians. Visitors can enjoy local food trucks and a bonfire by the Tisbury Fire Department. A "silent disco" after-party hosted by Pathways will take place from 9 to 11 pm.

A community-based festival, First Friday aims to bring the community together to celebrate Vineyard Haven's local identity, art, culture, music, commerce, and maritime history, the release says.
