About First Day Fun: Family Style...Start the New Year on the right foot (and then the left foot) with an easy hike at Pogorelc Sanctuary, behind Barnstable Land Trust's Conservation Center on Route 6A. Meet Get Outside founder and local author Lissy Perna, who will guide family hikes at 10:45 and 11:45 am and then sign copies of her new book "50 Cape Cod Hiking Trails: The Best Family-Friendly Nature Trails on Cape Cod." Also, meet Liz and Cassie, two Cape Cod locals who will share how they play the Geocaching game with their own families while exploring nature trails across the Cape. We recommend downloading the app and creating a user name in advance so they can show you how easy - and fun - it is to log your first 'find' of the new year!
