Chatham Art in the Park

About Chatham Art in the Park...The Chatham Merchants Association presents "Chatham Art in the Park"; this year's display is "Whales in the Park".

Local artists have painted large whale-shaped profiles, and they are on display on the front lawn of Kate Gould Park from July 4th until August 21st, 2020.
The works of art will be auctioned online, and 50% of each item's sale price will go to the artist.

This year Oars in the Stores is the theme of of our summer visitors scavenger hunt. Participate and enter to win gifts from the Chatham Merchants Association ... to be awarded at the end of September.

Oars in the Stores are displayed so they are also visible from outside each store.

Oars in the Stores headquarters is at the Downtown Visitor Information Booth, 533 Main Street, where you can obtain the scavenger hunt booklets. Each person handing in a completed booklet will receive a prize.

The booklets are also available in participating downtown shops as well as the Captain Bassett House Visitor Center in South Chatham.

The proceeds of the Whale auction will benefit the Chatham Merchants Association's investment in making Chatham a wonderful and fun place in which to live, do business, stay and visit, shop, and enjoy all the attractions of this great town, as have all the past Art in the Park and Sharks in the Park auctions.
