About Behind the Scenes at Antiques Roadshow with John & Kathy Nye...Do you fancy yourself an ace appraiser and call yourself a fan of Antiques Roadshow? The Nye Homestead & Museum is proud to announce an exciting new addition to our yearly event series. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 John B.A. Nye, recurring appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, will host an intimate, limited-seating appearance at the East Sandwich Grange Hall. Appearing alongside his spouse, Kathy, an art historian who has vetted guests for the famed PBS show, this power couple will entertain us with behind-the-scenes experiences and a discussion of life in the antiques trade. The audience will be treated to career high points, surprises, and great and memorable moments in the field. The format will be an open forum and members of the audience will be encouraged to take part in the conversation at this non-appraisal event.
