About 2023 Grand Illumination...nnual summer staple event on Martha's Vineyard taking place every third Wednesday in August, (rain date Thursday.) It's a magical night when thousands of colorful Japanese lanterns decorating charming Victorian "gingerbread cottages" (Oak Bluffs Camp Ground) light up the night. Festivities begin at the Tabernacle with Vineyard Haven Band and community sing.
