Rory’s Market + Kitchen, with locations in Mashpee Commons and Dennis Port, also has plenty of delicious items to choose from. You can grab your groceries for the week and leave with a delicious snack!

Sometimes you want a delicious bite that isn’t so healthy. Scottish Bakehouse, located on Martha’s Vineyard in Vineyard Haven, is the perfect spot for an indulgent snack. While the Scottish Bakehouse does also have a selection of healthy treats, you can’t visit without trying one of their delicious “fakin’ bacon” BLTs. The Scottish Bakehouse prides themself on their farm fresh items, so you’re sure to enjoy anything you sample!
A Bit of Everything
When dining out, you want to have a wide selection of options. Several restaurants on the Cape and Islands offer tasty meals in different styles, making it easy for you to decide on your meal. The Barn Bowl & Bistro, located on Martha’s Vineyard in Oaks Bluff, may not be a strictly vegan restaurant, but they have plenty of meals to choose from. For example, their Beyond Meat burger is meatless, dairy free, and absolutely delicious! They also have asian, vegetable based, and other style dishes available.
Looking for a quicker meal? Fare & Just Kitchen, located in Brewster, is currently serving takeout only. However, their kitchen serves an amazing selection of dishes, such as salads, rice bowls, meatless meatballs, stir fry, and more. Be sure to check out their social media and call ahead, as their specials rotate.
Visiting the Islands and looking for a lot of choices for your next meal? Lemon Press, located on Nantucket, is a fantastic spot for indecisive eaters. Choose from hot bowls, vegan burgers, toasts, and more. What’s a meal without dessert? Lemon Press has numerous sweets to sample, ranging from vegan ice cream to pastries.
Pizza, Pizza!
Being vegan doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your favorite classics. There are numerous pizza shops that offer vegan cheese-less tasty toppings. Pizza Barbone, for example, offers numerous vegan pies covered with their cashew based ‘cheese.’ They are located in Barnstable and also offer vegan desserts like coconut milk gelato. Oath Pizza, located on Nantucket, also has many alternatives for vegans. Their “Beyond Bomb” Pizza features Beyond meat sausages, chickpeas, and other tasty toppings.
Asian Cuisine
Several asian dishes are already vegan, primarily focusing on vegetables as the main course. However, these Cape Cod restaurants offer unique dishes featuring tofu and rice as the primary focus. Inaho Sushi, located in Yarmouthport, provides visitors with a special dining experience. This upscale Japanese restaurant primarily serves sushi, with the majority containing seafood. However, Inaho Sushi also serves vegetable alternatives, such as garden rolls and vegetable waps. These yummy rice and cucumber based dishes are sure to leave you satisfied with your meal. Bangkok Cuisine is a great restaurant chain for vegan Asian cuisine. Located throughout the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard in seven locations, Bangkok Cuisine is a popular dining destination. Vegans can delight in their tofu based dishes, such as tofu triangles, veggie soup, and tofu entree specials.
