Start your summer off with a one-of-a-kind art experience at the Vineyard Artisans Festivals! In fact, it's the only art show on Martha's Vineyard that features exclusively all Island artisans. From handmade furniture to sculptures to ceramics to clothing to fine art, you'll surely not want to miss this event that celebrates the creative minds of the Vineyard.
Start the season with the Old Sculpin Gallery May 28-June 3rd and attend their “Colors for Ukraine” art exhibition. This exhibit, featuring artwork inspired by the colors of the Ukranian Flag and their national flower, was created by local artists as a way to voice their support to the crisis happening overseas.
If you’re on the Vineyard anytime between May 31-June 20th, be sure to take a tour of America’s Oldest carousel! Learn about the history of this magical ride that many of us kids grew up begging to take another turn on.
