Founded in 2007 by Kevin Flynn, the Nantucket Comedy Festival is an annual summer event that brings top comedic talent to Nantucket Island as the major fundraiser for Stand Up & Learn™, an island-based, year-round comedy education program serving Nantucket's children. Race for Open Space is back for another year! Organized by the Nantucket Conservation Foundation Associates, the 5k, 10k, and 2-mile walk is open to anyone looking to enjoy the sweet summer air while getting in a good workout! All proceeds from the races will go toward the Foundation's Land Fund, which helps to preserve and protect Nantucket's vast open spaces.
