Farmers’ markets are a great way to experience the best local flavors. Visitors can purchase farm fresh produce, but can also find delicious offerings like homemade baked goods, colorful flower arrangements, and other local products. Cape Cod is home to many farmers’ markets throughout the summer and fall season.
Upper Cape Farmers' Markets
The Falmouth Farmers’ Market, hosted in Marine Park on Scranton Ave, is being held through October 7. The market will be held on Thursdays from 12-5pm. The Sandwich Farmers’ Market at Wing School on 33 Water Street will be held on Tuesdays through October 12 from 10am-1pm.
Lower Cape Farmers' Markets
The Harwich Farmers’ Market, hosted at Brooks Academy Museum on Parallel Street, is being held through October 7 from 3-6pm. The Chatham Farmers’ Market, hosted at the Local Color Art Gallery on Main Street, is being held through October 19 from 3-6pm. If you’re looking to visit a farmers’ market late in the season, the Orleans Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturdays from 9am-12pm at 21 Old Colony Way. During the months of January to April, the market will be held from 11am-1pm at the same location.
Outer Cape Farmers' Markets
The Wellfleet Farmers’ Market, hosted at the Congregational Church on Main Street, will be held from 8am-12pm on Wednesdays until October 6. The Provincetown Farmers’ Market, hosted on Ryders Street, will be held on Saturdays from 9am-1pm until October 30.

Pick Your Own Produce Experiences
If you’re looking to get your produce directly from the farm, be sure to visit Crow Farm in Sandwich. This local favorite sells produce throughout the Cape, but visitors can pick their own produce throughout the season! During the summer months, the farm offers pick-your-own strawberries. In the fall, visitors can pick their own apples and pumpkins. They also feature a corn maze starting in early October. The farm stand typically offers a variety of different produce for purchase. Visitors of all ages will enjoy a trip to Crow Farm!
Just a short drive away is another local favorite, Tony Andrews Farm. This Falmouth-based farm offers a large selection of pick-your-own produce from June through October. Visitors can pick strawberries, peas, corn, and sunflowers in the summer months. During the fall, visitors can pick apples, squash, and pumpkins. If you’re short on time, you can also pick up a ready to go bag of produce from their farm stand. We also recommend trying their delicious apple cider donuts!
Coonamessett Farm in Falmouth provides a great farm experience. With the price of daily admission, visitors can roam throughout the fields and pick to their heart’s content before visiting the store to weigh and purchase the items picked. The farm offers herbs, seasonal produce, fresh eggs, and colorful flowers. There are also several animals to say hello to along the way, like llamas, turtles, goats, and chickens. Before leaving, be sure to check out their delicious baked goods or dine at their farm to table restaurant, The Buffalo Jump. They offer plenty of amazing dishes like chilled ratatouille, mozzarella and fig grilled cheese, cornbread with chipotle honey butter, and more. You’re sure to have a memorable experience visiting this farm!
