Father’s Day is almost here! Need some suggestions for what to do with dear old dad? We’ve compiled a list of seven fun things to do on the Cape this coming Sunday!
1. Annual Hyannis Main Street Father’s Day Car Show
The only day of the year that Main Street is closed to normal car traffic and open to the public to take in the sights (lots of cool vintage cars!). Stores and restaurants are still open for shopping and grabbing a bite, there’s even a craft fair on the village green.
Free Car Show
2. Mini Golf at the Wellfleet Drive-In
Play a round of retro mini golf on the Wellfleet Drive-In’s well maintained vintage mini golf course, then stay until dark and treat dad to a good old-fashioned drive-in movie!
Golf and a Movie
3. Golf at Highland Links
Play a round of golf at the Cape Cod’s oldest and most scenic golf course, Highland Links in Truro! Founded in 1892, the course is perched high on the bluffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This place is awesome! Golf with a view
4. Cape Cod Baseball League
Games start this week! Check out a game with dad and see “where the stars of tomorrow shine tonight!” The Cape Cod Baseball League is a collegiate summer baseball league that has produced many major league baseball players . . . you might just be watching a future baseball star! Take dad out to the ball game Here are the Sunday games:
Brewster Whitecaps @Cotuit Kettleers 2:00pm
Orleans Firebirds @ Falmouth Commodores 3:00 pm
Hyannis Harbor Hawks @Harwich Mariners 3:00 pm

6. Fishing
You can’t get more Cape Cod than fishing! We have it all, fresh water fishing at one of our many kettle ponds, striped bass and bluefish in the bay, or try your luck at the Cape Cod Canal! Check a local fishing report for more details: Where are the fish?
Or, take dad on a fishing charter! How many fish can dad catch?
7. Just kick back and relax
Last, but not least, perhaps dad would most enjoy a weekend away. Here are a few homes offering Father's Day weekend rates.
4 bedroom Hyannis home - check out the man shed!
4 bedroom Barnstable house with two patios and a hammock
4 bedroom Brewster house with hot tub and air-conditiong
Chatham 3 bedroom house, walk to Mill Pond
Wishing all those dads out there a Happy Father’s Day!
