Spanning over 4 days, the Martha's Vineyard Fair is back for a 160th year! Held on the fairgrounds of Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury, this celebrated festival includes amusement rides, shucking contests, skillet toss, horse pull, woodsmen competitions, and dog & livestock shows.

The Oak Bluffs Fireworks and Band Concert will be hold on August 19th 8:00 p.m. at the Ocean Park Gazebo! Sit back under the starry sky and listen to the soothing sounds of the band before enjoying the extravagant fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.
Starting Friday August 5th and concluding August 13th, the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival is celebrating 20 years of Black excellence in film. This highly anticipated, academy accredited event, is an Oscar-qualifying film festival in the short-film category. Highlights of the festival include a selection of impressive independent films, documentaries, discussions, and exclusive events. This year's celebration kicks off with the award-winning documentary, "Descendant."
Camp Jabberwocky provides a residential camp for people with disabilities, and their annual 5k on August 20th helps to raise money for their wonderful establishment. Whether you're walking, running, or rolling, this event will be a fun time for all. There's even going to be prizes for the highest fundraisers, fastest runners, and most creative outfits!
