How and Why has WeNeedaVacation.com Grown over the Last 19 Years?

We are celebrating our 19th anniversary! WeNeedaVacation.com launched on December 1, 1997, during the infancy of the internet. We are so proud of the growth, thrilled to work and live on the Cape and Islands, and happy to share our story with you.

We could go on and on about all the growth in our business as well as the vacation rental industry, but instead we are presenting a video look of how the site has developed, as well as an interview with co-owner, Jeff Talmadge.

A couple important things have stayed constant over the years – Most of our staff have been with WeNeedaVacation.com for over ten years. Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are still easy places to market, truly our love, and the destination “happy place” for millions.
