We have been going to this house every year for the past 7 years. Laura has been nothing but a fantastic host, and it's truly a special house. The bedrooms are at on the bottom floor. One fantastic master with on-suite bathroom, with access to the backyard with an outdoor shower. One large double twin bed room, and a third queen bed room. A second bathroom is on the bottom floor. Once you go upstairs, you will be welcomed with an amazing large open room for gathering. The large kitchen and family room is where we spend most of our time. There is a separate family room off the back of the room where our kids watch movies, play board games, and color/draw. One of the coolest features of the house is the loft bed above the kitchen, the kids love it! The house has everything you need for a great vacation including beach chairs, coolers, a grill. It's the little things that make this house so easy, especially since we now have to fly into Nantucket since moving to Denver. The location is Tom Nevers, which means it's close downtown and Sconset, bike trails, a fantastic par 3 golf course, but also away from all the traffic if you are not going downtown. Make sure you try the blueberry muffins from Sconset Market for breakfast. Our favorite restaurant is Company of the Caldron for a nice meal, Brotherhood of Thieves for a great evening out for dinner, The Proprietor for amazing drinks, and Galley Beach for beach cocktails and happy hour. We do a seafood boil every year from Sayles Seafood which is great to eat on the back deck. The best lobster rolls are from Lobster Trap. Cisco Brewery is a great time, but get there early. One of the our highlights of the week is always to grab a pizza, snacks, and drinks, and do dinner at night on Nobadeer beach for the sunset. 25' we are staying for two weeks, because one week just isn't enough. If you book early, Laura will work with you on car ferry passes, which are like gold. It's truly an amazing house in a very quiet neighborhood, and you will definitely want to keep coming back year after year. show more show less
