We rented this house for our three teenage children and their friends. The kids could walk to the beach by themselves, which was a huge convenience. If you do not bring a car, the walk to town is two miles or you can easily get a cab to pick you up. The house has everything, beach towels and coolers, plenty of linens and plush towels. The homeowner supplies hand soap, coffee, dish and laundry soap which is hugely convenient. There is plenty of lawn and lawn games, so plan on playing. It was so nice to have a well-equipped kitchen for dinners at the table for ten or to cook and eat under the stars on the deck. Highspeed internet and tvs in both primary bedrooms makes this the most comfortable and hassle-free rental we've ever had. Our family of five, along with my husband's sister's family of three, had the most wonderful week of our lives at this home. Our 12- and 13-year-old children were able to ride bikes from the house to surfside beach, where there are lifeguards and a really good surf shack where you can get food all day long. Because the house is close to the beach and not far from town, everyone can have their own program. Not everyone has to do all the same things. The kitchen is huge and opens to the long dining room table, which goes further to the deck. Waking up to a huge, glorious sky wondering how quickly everyone can get ready for the beach was amazing. The kitchen has everything you need, the house is very well maintained. The towels are abundant and the beach towels are high quality. There are lawn games and high-speed internet. The TV room off the kitchen was great for letting the kids watch movies, while we sat on the deck drinking wine under the stars. Also, a week in Nantucket wouldn't be complete with and outdoor shower after a day of activities. Plenty of hot water!!

I have rented this house a few times. It is the perfect house for a girlfriends getaway or a family vacation. The house is very close to the beach which is great. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It's a quick bike ride or drive to town which is wonderful. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to rent in Nantucket. We will continue to stay here every time!
