    A most perfectly appointed and incredibly decorated home. Island Thyme is a real jem, and does not dissappoint. The Townhouse is located right in town on Main St, allowing us to enjoy all the town had to offer, and only seconds to everything. The location was more than we could have ever imagined. Ken (our host) was so helpful and kind. Ken gave us many recommendations for dinner and entertainment. By far the best vaction we could ever ask for. We will be back again.

    Hi Ken, thank you for all your help while I was visiting Nantucket. You directed me to great places for me to paint. I'm going home with some incredible paintings. The island was so so pretty, and "island thyme" was oh so nice. The toiletries you provided smelled so fresh. Your place was very clean and homey, I loved it.     We travelled from Germany for a wedding in Boston. We came a week earlier to visit Nantucket. Ken, you made our trip to the island so easy. When we arrived on the boat..finding your home was so easy. My wife and I walked into your home and laughed, we could not believe we rented such a beautiful place. We actually bought food at the market and cooked at home all week. We did take your advice and went to the beach by the house. It was a great day even though I was sun burned.     We really had a blast while on the island. Sadly I got sea sick after a boat ride, and having this great home to recouperate was so perfect. I need to know the make of the Primary bedroom mattress, so comfortable. We will come back again in the future. Much thanks for the dining suggestions, we loved them all.     I loved both the townhouse and the location. It had everything we needed. The extra bathroom and laundry capabilities came in handy for sure. Loved the decor and the best part was walking outside right into the thick of the town. I'd stay again and again. Thanks, Ken!

    What a wonderful weekend we enjoyed, thanks to our most generous hosts.

    We were allowed to check in a few hours early, because they expanded their cleaning staff.
    How very thoughtful and nice.

    The Townhouse:
    So lovely, hip, and clean, and in the best location downtown. (dining and docks)
    City hum (distant ringing church bells, early morning deliveries, sea gulls) and so convenient for access to Main Street.

    A welcoming back-up-plan for dining in, or movies too, if the weather (or our reservations) fell through.

    Thank you for your interest in ''Island Thyme''. A little bit of information about ''US'' the owners. We've been summering in Nantucket for 30 years, and have fallen in love with the island more and more as each year passes. We are both born and raised Buffalonians from Buffalo, NY. When we purchased ''Island Thyme'', we wanted to make it special for not only us, but for all who visit. You'll see a large (fake of course) Buffalo Head above the staircase leading to the master bedroom, it's our way of bringing a little bit of our hometown to the island.

    What is special about this property?
    Where do I start? ''Island Thyme'' is located in the central hub of Nantucket in Town directly on Main St. This townhouse was build out in 2019, and had a complete refurnishing in March of 2021. From designer lighting, furniture, luxury bed linens, ''green tea'' infused toiletries, custom artwork etc, this place is a real show stopper. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a new fresh property that you'll never want to leave. Easily entertain friends, or a simple dinner for 2 in a large fully equipped kitchen. Sometimes it's nice to just kick back on vacation, and this large 1,100sq ft unit allows for this. We are located at the end of Straight Wharf where Main St begins. Being only 1 block to the water is exactly what makes ''Island Thyme'' so special. Jump off the Ferry and you're only seconds to our home. From the airport it's about a 15min ride. The best stores, coffee shops and restaurants are right here, so get ready for world class shopping and dining. You'll waste no vacation time travelling into town from an out of town rental, our location simply can't be beat. Looking to go on a fishing charter? day or evening harbor cruises? whale watching boat tours?, well ''Island Thyme'' is only a few second walk away. Nantucket is famous for its beaches, and ''Island Thyme'' delivers once again, with beautiful Francis St beach only a 5 min walk. Relax, work on that tan, or grab a kayak / paddle board right here!!
