This Cherry Street property is located a short walk from town and the ferry (about 3/4 mile). Located in the Historic District, this is a great place to spend time relaxing with family and exploring the island! The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (& an outdoor shower); sleeps a maximum of 7. The front unit is about 1,200 square feet and has been completely renovated (property was demolished in 2018 and rebuilt).

This property sits on a quarter acre lot and has a good sized yard (a fun spot for those families with small children) with a seashell lined driveway providing off-street parking for at least two cars.

Francis Street Beach is located 1/4 mile from the property, and Children's Beach is about 3/4 of a mile from the cottage. For those interested in heavier surf, Surfside Beach is a short 2 1/4 mile bike ride/drive from the property.

During the summer months (Lat June, July, and August) the front cottage rents for $5425-$5600/week.

    Great location, right in the heart of ACK!

    Good for 2 Families - Small families or extended family like in-laws with a family. I along with my 3 children (3, 11, 13) stayed in the front cottage and my brother and his daughter (4) stayed in the rear cottage. This cottage had modern appliances, including a great big washer and dryer and a comfortable setting. We lucked out, the week was all sun, no rain so we spent family time outside on the hammock and front patio table.

    Location, location, location. We rode our bikes everywhere from here, or walked. Down the street is a cute little coffee shack and there is a new Cumberland Farms being built. There is a gas station, package store and sandwich shop. In the other direction is Stop n Shop. We were less than a block away form the Boys and Girls Club, so we went for walks in the evening up there and kicked or threw balls around on the beautiful fields. There is a bike trail at the end of the street that leads into town. This was our first time staying in or near town and would do it again in a heartbeat.

    The two downsides and only negatives was the bathroom was tight in the front cottage and there was no table to sit at or I should say set up all the time so we naturally gravitated to the outdoor seating area.

    Overall the homeowner was awesome. Very accommodating, as well as attentive. Wanted to make sure we got in safely and was always quick and responsive to any emails or text messages I sent. I lost the set of keys to the cottage in the rear and got locked out. He was understanding and quick to provide a solution. Very nice homeowner and family that I'd love to rent from again.

    We rented both the front house and back house for a late September wedding and were all thrilled with the accommodations. The house was stocked with all necessities, easy to locate, easy to get in, and comfortable. We all really enjoyed the outdoor patio, which was perfect for evening cocktails and early breakfasts. The location was also perfect, it was a cab ride into town, but walking distance to a deli, liquor store, grocery, and coffee shop, which all came in handy!     My wife and I have owned this property on Cherry Street since 2011. We always enjoy getting to know those staying at our cottage and making sure our property is a good fit.

    What is special about this property?
    Our 14 Cherry Street property is unique in that it has a cottage feel to it, but has the amenities that will make you feel comfortable during your stay. The coffee shop is 120 steps from the house, and the grocery store and other eating esablishments are about 1/4 mile away. The local beach and town are both wthin a 10-15 minute walk. Unlike other properties on the island, it's not essential that you have a car.
