Bookings Just opened for Summer 2025!

Quiet and Peaceful, yet close to town and beach!

This cottage is located in the Monomoy section of Nantucket - close to everything, yet peaceful, and close to a number of free bus lines. There is a 2 car driveway if you have a car.

The 2 bedroom cottage, plus a sleeping loft, includes a master bedroom with a queen bed, plus an en-suite bathroom that features double sinks and a tub/shower combo unit. The second bedroom has a twin bed with a trundle underneath. The Hall full bathroom includes a stall shower. Up the ship's ladder are 2 more twin beds, so it sleeps 6 total. The loft has an additional cozy sitting area. (Kids love it!)

We limit the cottage to a maximum of 6 people, with a maximum of 4 adults.

Central Air Conditioning is new for 2023.

In the main hallway is a full size washer and dryer (brand new appliances in 2023!). Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, mixers, coffee maker, toaster, a very quiet Bosch dishwasher, microwave and a full size electric stove.

Outside there is a deck with plenty of seating for outdoor dining or relaxing. Weber gas grill there, too. Adirondack chairs in the front are great for reading or enjoying a glass of wine.

We currently rent the cottage from the middle of July to the end of August. We are willing to consider any rental period that is 7 nights or longer. We are charging $590 per night. You can choose the start and end dates of your visit. We hope that by not having a strict Saturday to Saturday rental period you would have an easier time making ferry reservations if you choose to bring a car.

If you would like to bring your pet, please inquire, we will discuss. Need approval regarding quantity and size of pet. Separate pet cleaning fee would apply.

Starting in October 2024, Nantucket has implemented an additional 3% community impact fee for rentals where the owner has more than 1 property for rent. To be clear, that will NOT apply to this rental, but you may want to look for it when you are looking at other properties.

    We loved our stay at Mark's cottage. It comes fully equipped with everything you could possibly need while on the island, the location is perfect, and the house was in great shape.

    Quaint Cozy Cottage

    A hidden gem. This quaint, cozy cottage sleeps 6 and is conveniently located mid-island within walking distance to Lola Burger, Stop & Shop, Chicken Box and Package store. The Mid-island loop bus stop and Surfside bus stops are nearby.

    All the modern amenities of air conditioners, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, refrig.cable, Internet, washer dryer, grill, board games. Nicely decorated and clean. Would stay here again.

    We have owned this cottage for about a decade. We have been visiting the island for many decades and were engaged on the island!

    We have rented the cottage to a Nantucket school teacher for the last 7 off seasons. For the summer of 2022, we used the cottage ourselves.
