Best value rental on island. The Sandcastle beach house is now available for summer and fall rentals. The property is located on the north side of the island about a mile from town on Hinckley lane. The house has 5 bedrooms (2 King beds, 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed, 4 twin beds -- 2 of which make up a bunk bed). In addition to the bedrooms, the Sandcastle has a living room/kitchen, dining room/library, a loft and laundry facilities. There are 2 full bathrooms in the house and 2 half bathrooms. Additionally, there is a private outdoor shower, which can be used after trips to the beach. Beach access is 150 yards from the house and is available for residents and guests of Hinckley lane. The house is equipped with basic internet service, but there is no TV. Hence, it is the quintessential relaxing nantucket experience and is ideal for families. At the other end of Hinckley lane (about 200 yards) there is a bike path that leads to Eel point and Madaket and is perfect for walking, running, biking and rollerblading.
