This 5-year-old home offers an open floor plan (living and dining rooms and kitchen) with space to share as a family and has spaces for you to stretch out and enjoy (family room with wet bar area, sitting area, and game table; front and side porches, backyard and deck (with outdoor shower, with separate seated changing area), office, mirrored workout room and an upstairs den). There are 3 full baths; one on each floor (basement and 1st floor baths have a tub/shower combination, the 2nd floor bath has a shower). There are dedicated parking spaces for 2+ cars.
Location, location, location! This is the house to rent if you want to be within walking distance to the beach (~10 minute-walk), entertainment (bowling alley, movies, bars, art galleries, campground site-seeing), restaurants, shops, grocery and convenience stores, playgrounds (basketball, pickle ball, baseball), bike path, the Oak Bluffs ferry terminal, and bus lines. It is located in a residential area surrounded by beautiful parks, and walkable to everything you need. Guests particularly enjoy spending time lounging or dining on the covered porch (with ceiling fans) overlooking Nashawena Park!
The 2024 rental season runs April 1st to October 15th. A 3-night minimum is required, with the exception of Sunday-Sunday weekly rentals required from July- the first week of September (Open to inquiries outside of the rental season).
The interior is fresh, clean and nicely decorated with a tasteful and soothing beach decor. There are two 1st floor bedrooms with Queen sized beds, and two upstairs bedrooms (double bed in one room the other has a twin over a double bunk bed), the upstairs rooms share a den with a TV. TVs are located in the living room, family room, den and workout room. The home has cable and Internet/Wi-Fi; there are numerous separate workspaces.
Guests have commented on the home's cleanliness and amenities, a few to highlight include mini splits with AC/heat (can adjust in different rooms to suit various comfort levels); bed, bath and beach linens; toiletries, two grills (one gas and one charcoal), ample seating for dining (dining table seats 10, kitchen island seats 2, deck seats 6, side porch seats 4+), a well equipped kitchen (including Keurig and filter-brewed coffee makers, blender, waffle iron, and lots of gadgets, dishes, pots/pans and serving ware); we leave our beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to use as well. In addition to the dining area, the side porch also has comfortable chairs, loveseat and a coffee table.
Having rented in Martha's Vineyard for 10 years prior to purchasing, I am very familiar with guests' needs and wants (i.e., well equipped kitchen, convenient places to charge electronics, luggage racks, etc.) and take pride offering those comforts to you as my guests.
