Welcome to Sengekontacket Community where you'll enjoy easy access to all three down-island towns & beaches. From within the neighborhood you'll access to one of the best saltwater ponds on the island, tennis, and plenty of walking, hiking, and biking trails.

This three-level home offers plenty of room for relaxing. The first-floor includes the main living space with lots of natural light, a half-bath, and a large deck overlooking the woods. The second floor includes a queen bedroom with a large closet and a shared full bath. The third floor includes a full-size bed with cubbies for storage and a desk. The third floor room is considered a loft and has three enclosed walls. Due to the open-style staircase we do not suggest access for young children just learning to crawl & walk.

The home has mini-split air conditioners in each room that run very efficiently to keep you cool. The downstairs half-bath has a full-size washer dryer.

You're welcome to bring your own kayak, canoe, or paddle board and keep it down at the access point during your stay. We have spent many a vacation day in the neighborhood on the water, playing tennis, walking, and biking.

Covered parking for one car is located on ground-level under the house. There is covered outdoor storage for your bike & beach gear and we have a small selection of gear for renters to enjoy.

    Serenity and Luxury in the Heart of Martha's Vineyard

    Our stay at this vacation home in the secluded and serene Sengekontacket woods was nothing short of exceptional. The house felt like a luxury treehouse, beautifully nestled among the trees yet conveniently close to the beach. Every aspect of this home exudes quality, from the high-end appliances and fixtures to the comfortable and elegant furniture and decor. The beach and island themes were tastefully incorporated, making it clear that we were in our beloved Martha's Vineyard.

    The homeowners truly thought of everything to make our vacation enjoyable. We appreciated the rackets and balls for the community tennis court, the propane grill on the spacious deck, and the well-equipped kitchen. It felt like we had all the comforts of home, plus some extra luxuries.

    The location is ideal for exploring Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, and Edgartown. Whether we were heading to the beach, shops, or restaurants, everything was just a short car ride away. We also loved that bike paths and the bus stop were nearby, making it easy to get around without a car.

    Each day started with a scenic walk through Sengekontacket, a tranquil and refreshing way to begin the day. After spending two weeks in this beautiful home, we returned feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.     Our family rented on the vineyard for more than 20 years before becoming owners. We spend as much time on the island as we can and are happy to offer our home to visitors as well. Please reach out if you're the least bit interested - we are happy to help you decide if our place is right for you!

    What is special about this property?
    We were so lucky to buy a beautifully maintained home in such a wonderful neighborhood. We encourage guests to take walks around the neighborhood and spend time relaxing at the house...and of course visiting the many attractions just minutes away. The bike path at the end of the driveway offers endless exploration.

    What is special about your town?
    Our home is solidly on the Oak Bluffs and Edgartown line and just off of Vineyard Haven road which makes it easy for bikers and drivers alike to get to all three down island towns.
