A carefree vacation in the most convenient location, only three blocks to beach or into town. No car necessary; stroll to restaurants, shops, and town beaches. The house is just a 10-minute walk from the ferry, so a car is not essential, and four bicycles available for your use.

A charming and comfortable, fully-equipped house with excellent queen-sized beds, outdoor shower, cable TV, DVD, and wifi-internet. There are mini-split air conditioners in the living room and master bedroom and window fans for other rooms.

The main floor has an open floor plan with living room and fully-equipped kitchen, pantry with microwave, and full bath with shower. The washer and dryer in the basement are accessible by interior stairs. We encourage tenants to do as we do and use the clothes lines in the back yard instead of the dryer as a way to save energy; it is amazing how quickly clothes dry in our island climate. Please note that we provide bath and beach towels, but you must bring your own bed linens.

Enjoy breakfast on the front patio and cocktails on the deck where there is a table with umbrella and chairs for outdoor dining and a Weber charcoal grill. A small grass yard and gardens with owner-built oak bench lend a comfortable ambiance. There is an outdoor shower accessible through the side door.

There is space for parking one car at the front of the house (in addition to on-street parking) and across the quiet street is Pennacook Avenue's ''eyebrow'' park, great for Cornhole or Frisbee throwing. One block away is Niantic Park, newly refurbished with tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, and playground structures. Two blocks away is the huge Waban Park, which ends at the beach; great for golf practice, soccer and Frisbee, and dog-running (please pick up after your dogs!). Two bike paths leading to Edgartown and West Tisbury are also nearby.

Circuit Avenue is just two blocks away where you will find shops and restaurants as well as the well-stocked Reliable Food Market with very reasonable prices. With so many amenities within walking distance you can leave your car at the house; and, if you want to venture forth, the #7 Transit Authority bus runs past Niantic Park if you prefer to take the bus rather than drive.
