This Oak Bluffs cottage provides all that is needed for both relaxation and adventure. The location is a short walk to the beach, parks, shops, grocery, restaurants and coffee shops. Richard provides excellent recommendations as well as detailed instructions for how to make the most of his wonderful cottage and its amenities. Island vacationing at its best!

I have been renting this cottage yearly for 10 years. The location is absolutely perfect for families with small children, middle age or older. You can walk to everything. Believe me, I'm not much of a walker and this only takes 5 min to the main attractions, restaurants, church, stores, ginger bread cottages and of course the beach right down the street. The home has everything you need for cooking and relaxation along with a great night sleep. The owners are very attentive and accommodate anything you need extra. There is an outdoor shower which is perfect for morning wake-up or after the beach. I prefer outdoor shower and feel great after. Exactly across the street is a park which is great for playing with the kids or throwing frisbees with the dog. This sweet cottage will not disappoint. show more show less

We have been vacationing in the Vineyard for 20+ years and have settled in here for the last 7 years. We are a family of 4 who usually travels with our dog and this house is a great fit. The location is perfect and an easy walk to everything in Oak Bluffs, but still quiet. There is an amazing playground and park just steps away, and the beach, shops and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk. The house is clean and has everything we need. Richard is a fantastic host and leaves clear/easy instructions with everything you need to know. The house is not filled with modern amenities or luxurious furnishings if you are looking for that. However if your looking for a conveniently located home base that works for kids and dogs at a fair price you can't go wrong. We plan on renting for as long as Richard will have us. show more show less

Our family of 4 has been renting this house every summer for a number of years. The location is perfect for a quick walk to Circuit Ave, Ocean Park, playground & tennis courts. You can also walk to the town beach, where you can enjoy the sun and the surf! This cozy house has everything we need, including an outdoor shower - perfect for those sandy beach days and a relaxing deck at the back of the house. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is peaceful in the evenings. We look forward to our stay every year!
