Dempster Park of East Chop: Walk to Beach & Town!

Once again our family settled in coming from across the country to the most gracious and welcoming nest for our always too short week !
I cannot speak enough goodness with regard to how each year we return to this home and how we exhale a breath of comfort and excitement walking thru the front door. Then there is That turn around look behind us-as we leave at weeks end is always met with a longing for more time . Until next time.

Yet again this lovely home and the gracious owners provided this Buffalo NY clan the most enjoyable time together. The home is perfectly located and so very tastefully appointed/accommodating that we simply could not ask for more . We are hoping to secure a week for our 2024 vacation soon !

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and felt like home! The outdoor space was inviting and perfect for entertaining and playing board games! The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing and was close to all that Oak Bluffs has to offer! Tennis courts, ferry, shopping, restaurants and beach were within a few minutes walk or drive! The house was well air conditioned throughout making it comfortable on a hot summer day! The administrative process, host responsiveness, and check-in/check-out process were a breeze! First time to the Vineyard, I was able to relax, walk to everything, the house was the best overall. It's warm, welcoming and felt like my home. Can't until my next visit.

Our stay at the Dempster Park property was great! The home was well prepared and functional as we had 3 children and 5 adults. Proximity to town and Jetty Beach was a huge plus! The house had plenty of space, and separation when needed, and a great outdoor sitting area. The central AC was huge as it was very hot week! Plenty of amenities, toys and beach supplies available. The outdoor shower could use an update but definitely functional. If you are going to be spending a week there with a large family or with other families, as it sleeps 8+, be aware that there is only 1 trash barrel and 1 recycling barrel. Both were easily filled by mid week. All in all a great place, well maintained, very responsive owner and location is key. We look forward to returning next year! show more show less

We absolutely loved our week here! Altho we come every summer this was particularly special as our daughter was married at Lamberts .
With our large family along we needed a home that would accommodate us and indeed we were blissful at this home! When we can all gather again we fully intend to stay again . Perfect perfect perfect !

This vacation was a fulfillment of a bucket list. From the moment I pulled up in front of the property it felt like I've arrived at a home away from home. I explored the entire house before removing any luggage, which was pleasing from the moment I walked in the front door. The visual and the energy not only met but exceeded my expectations. The location, neighborhood, and proximity to shops, restaurants, and the beach added to the entire experience. I will make Dempster a regular for my annual MV getaway. show more show less
