Oak Bluffs Vacation Rental - ID 33550

Beautiful weather, central location and a gorgeous cottage home made for a perfect vacation OTV. Bedrooms were comfortable and private, the kitchen was well equipped and the back yard offered lovely outdoor seating areas. Bonus was a walking location to a Level 2 charger - much appreciated to charge up our new EV.

I believe we will return for another week in 2025!

I have been coming to Martha's Vineyard for many many summers, and this rental experience has been one of the best. After the very difficult time we all experienced, coming with friends to just the right place these last three summers has meant everything. Karen and Ron have been great hosts. They have built a lovely and very well appointed place to vacation. Everything is clean and well kept. We were two couples and a single and the layout of the space accommodated us in the most comfortable way. We especially loved the kitchen and dining area where we had everything we needed to make wonderful meals while being together. Our vacations have been glorious In this home. It's an excellent location. We enjoyed walks into town and could get to Edgartown or Vineyard Haven in no time. Again, I have seen a number of properties over the years and this one is right up there at the top.

Once again, our family had a splendid time in your lovely home and look forward to returning next year!!

This was our first extended stay (more than a day or two) on MV and this was the perfect house for our family. With teen and adult children, everyone had their own space — with separate bathrooms — but plenty of areas to hang out together, especially in the cozy backyard. And who doesn't love a nice outdoor shower after a day at the beach? The hosts were also very welcoming and helpful. Great rental!

We felt at home and like family as soon as we walked in.
Karyn and Ron clearly have poured their heart soul and collective talents into this wonderfully appointed home. Set up to accommodate 3 adult couples or larger families with children who value some private time to read a book or sleep in a few extra minutes before jumping into the day. A hidden gem for sure where wonderful memories will be made. We plan to return again….

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your lovely home which is filled with attention to detail. Kudos for the number of en suite BRs. We spent lots of time outdoors on the front deck and rear patio. Our favorite indoor spot was the window seat in the dining area. A good time was had by and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Couples trip we each had our own bathroom, from start to finish we had a very enjoyable vacation at this home in Oak Bluffs. It was clean, very well stocked with all essentials needed and the location was simply perfect. The owner was quick to respond to questions and provided local recommendations as requested. The home is spacious and wonderfully comfortable. Excellent location, very nicely decorated house, we felt extremely comfortable in the house, A Fantastic experience, cannot say enough how beautiful this home is in a quiet neighborhood. A short walk downtown and the beach. House is well maintained and clean. highly recommended. Strongly recommend staying here!

We loved this beautifully appointed home! It is clear to see all the labor and love put into it. The decor and landscape are exquisite. Both tasteful and welcoming.We enjoyed relaxing in the yard and playing washers as well as spending countless hours gathered around the table having family game night. Karyn and Ron were wonderful with communicating and gave great recommendations of things to do on the island. How thoughtful of them to leave fresh cut hydrangeas on the table upon our arrival. Such a nice touch! This was our first family vacation to the vineyard and can't wait to return. Beautiful memories were made. We hope to rent from Karyn and Ron again next year!!

This fantastic home is just as pictured with a great location near Oak Bluffs downtown area. Bike/walking path is right there. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable! The landscaping is lovely and makes it very enjoyable to sit outside. The owners are very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay on Martha's Vineyard in this perfect home!

We've been coming to Martha's Vineyard for years. We have rented a number of places. This was our first time at this property. I must say the place worked out just great for our group of three couples. It is very accommodating for adults. Nicely located in Oak Bluffs. The yard is great for getting together with friends for barbecues and cocktail parties. All in our group stated how it would be nice to get this place for next year. Planning to do so.

The house is fabulous from top to bottom! The landscape, décor and maintenance were on par and exceeded expectations. Lovely job. We definitely would come back again!

We loved this vacation home! The indoor and the outdoor spaces were comfortable and just as they appear in the listing. Perfect location with direct access to the bike trail. The home had everything that we needed, even a scrabble board. The owners were helpful before the trip and were responsive during our stay. Karyn and Ron's house on the vineyard is the most amazing place for a getaway vacation! They have poured their heart and soul (and amazing taste) into this beautiful home. I had the pleasure to hear about and even see the house while it was being renovated and it truly turned into an amazing oasis for their guests. The house is also conveniently located to downtown Oak Bluffs which is a short distance bike ride or walk.

If you're thinking about renting this place, don't hesitate! It truly is a great place to stay, you won't regret it!

We had a lovely time in your home-the bathroom for every bedroom was exactly what we had been looking for (for ages) and we now had it! The size and proportion and organization of each was great!
Your efforts to offer a comfortable and "carefully curated" interior was the best that we've seen in a cottage.
So much of your care, creativity and ambitions as a designer are everywhere. Your love for the Island, appreciation of family and professionalism is present.

After the eighteen months we've all had, the time on MV was especially sacrosanct. This home punched all the tickets for location, cleanliness and overall charm. My friends and I see coming back to this home again and again. While we had a smoke alarm issue that was annoying and not easily to remedied, we're already set to return.

The hosts are lovely people and have designed a really lovely place to vacation. It is really a gem!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The house was quaint and spacious, with a bathroom room to each room. The amenities were awesome, and we appreciated the detailed instructions that accompanied the AC remotes — those thoughtful touches go a long way. The upstairs patio and backyard deck were set up perfectly for relaxing and gathering with the family. And the decor was lovely — felt very welcoming and refined.

We definitely recommend and can't wait to stay again!

We stayed at Ron and Karyn's fabulous home with two other couples last year. It was a couple's only getaway, and it turned out to be the best weekend EVER. The home is gorgeously furnished with so many comfortable, fun and interesting elements. There is NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER that they truly are the Chip and Joanna of Martha's Vineyard. The home is beyond immaculate, and flows with well thought out elements only an accomplished decorator and carpenter could ever implement. You will feel so comfortable here, a truly relaxing getaway you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. All the outdoor spaces are the hidden gem of this property. Decks in the front, the back, the patio and fire pit were so well thought out. I am a neat-a-holic with high standards, and this place passed with flying colors.). The island is gorgeous and the homeowners were so great in suggesting all the fun spots, restaurants and private beaches to explore. We truly all can't wait to get back there this summer!!!!!!

This house is the quintessential family getaway, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside and out! It's clear from the moment you pull up that the owners put a tremendous amount of love and care into the home. There are front and back decks, a yard with fire pit and grill, a simply spectacular kitchen, and incredibly spacious rooms! The house is just a short drive to a number of area beaches and downtown OB, there's also a walking/biking path that runs out front. This was the perfect place for my family to kick back and de-stress!

The house was truly perfect! We were a party of 6 and we were extremely comfortable and it was the perfect size for us. House is newly renovated with an awesome kitchen and tastefully decorated throughout! Great cottage feel! We had two 16 yo's and two 9 yo's. Each duo had their own space and their own bathroom! The master suite was amazing with a great comfy bed and private deck that my husband utilized everyday. Great sitting room where we snuggled up to watch movies.

The house was impeccably clean when we arrived. Karyn Hunt is a most gracious host! We had an early ferry at 830 am and she offered to let us check in at 10 am!!! She met us at the house and gave us a tour and she checked in on us during our 2 week stay!

My favorite times in the house was drinking coffee on the porch with my husband in the early mornings and having breakfast in that great kitchen with the family every day! Quality time like no other! OB and VH just 5 min away by car or quick bike ride in, but you could also walk into OB if you were up for great exercise...we did!!! Overall, awesome house and host! Would definitely rent again!!

This House was Perfect for my Family of Four. However, the house could accommodate more guests. Each bedroom except the downstairs queen bedroom had two beds, and an extra pullout bed in the Master suite. The bedrooms were HUGE. The house had a lot of common areas to stretch out and relax. You can tell the homeowners put a lot of work into their home. Everything was modern.
Karyn was an excellent host. There were no issues at all regarding this rental.
Looking forward to staying at this property next year.

My husband and I travel frequently and rent houses each time. We can honestly say this was one of our favorites! Immaculate, comfortable, quiet and charming. The attention to detail is what makes this house truly a home. Communication with Karyn and Rob was seamless and very cordial which you don't often get with owners! Having central air was a big plus since the heat and humidity were high during our stay. While the home is located on a main road, you hardly know it as it's very quiet inside. Should we find ourselves back on MV, we would certainly rent from Karyn and Rob's peaceful retreat!

I cannot say how much we loved staying at Karyn and Ron's beautiful home. It was perfect for our party (3 adults and 3 kids) and everything was so comfortable. We loved having 3 bathrooms and the central air was so nice considering we had some perfect summer weather during our stay. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, and definitely a well curated place to kick back after a day on island. We were pleasantly surprised by the back yard as well! Karyn and Ron were also wonderful to work with and helpful for tips on where to go for dinner, etc.

This was an awesome place to stay! Great central location! Very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Firepit was a great addition. Hoping to rent it again in the very near future.

This home is centrally located and only a short drive to the ferry. It is apparent that the owners are truly talented, as the home is beautifully decorated and a cozy place for a large family or a small group "getaway". Highly recommend this property!
