This house was just perfect for our family. 6 adults and 3 children. On arrival there was a welcome from the owner, the house was nicely appointed, and had been meticulously cleaned. The beds were extremely comfortable. Layout of house provided lots of quiet space. We all loved rocking, playing, and reading on the porch. The location of the house was great for walking to the beach, the ferry, and Circuit Ave. A bonus was the well-equipped playground just around the corner! The owner provided a wealth of information before arrival and was very responsive to questions. Our family was able to enjoy a much needed and very relaxing getaway. Thank you again Janet!

I cannot overstate how fabulous our stay was. I wish I could give it 10 stars. The house is FANTASTIC, stocked with just about everything you need for a wonderful week away, and so central to everything Oak Bluffs has to offer that you only have to move the car when you want to venture further afield. My family knew within 24 hours that we wanted to return to this house in 2023. The attention to detail, and love and care that the Haspels have poured into this house is evident the moment you set foot in the door. The decor offers a beachy aesthetic with calming blue/turquoise tones throughout. The rooms are spacious, and the distinct seating areas and spaces throughout the home make it easy to have time to yourself, even when surrounded by others. The neighborhood is very family-friendly and the surrounding neighbors are all wonderful and welcoming. Of all the great things I can say about this house, I can't neglect to mention the wrap-around porch and rocking chairs - what a great place to start your morning with a cup of coffee and a great book, or wind down after a long day of exploring the island.

Last but not least, Janet is amazing. She was available throughout our stay for any questions or concerns that we had, and was very responsive.

I have stayed in four houses in Martha's Vineyard in the last 6 years. The Pennacook house is my all time favorite. We cooked a lot of family style meals and I can't say enough about the kitchen appliances, pots, pans, gadgets and gizmos that were on hand. The living area is wonderful!

This house is suitable for large groups of people. There are several places for small groups to congregate. If you think downstairs is great, you will love the bedrooms. They are pretty as well as immaculate. The bathrooms are modern and beautiful, especially in the master bedroom area. The front porch has an abundance of benches and rocking chairs. Finally, you can't beat the location.

The house is within walking distance of Circuit Avenue in one direction and the beach and Gingerbread Houses in the other direction. If you love the outdoors, then you will enjoy the backyard area with the glittering lights that add to the magical Martha's Vineyard atmosphere.

It was a pleasure working with Janet Haspel. She was a very responsive owner. Janet was patient to answer all of my questions and concerns and always only a phone call or text away.

The house was wonderful and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and was in an ideal location. It felt great not to have to worry about anything, have everything work and be comfortable. The owner was responsive and helpful. It was a great stay.

This house is a fantastic rental! It is a big, beautiful, immaculately clean home stocked with everything you will need on your vacation other than personal bed sheets and bath towels. Within walking distance to everything Oak Bluffs has to offer, even for young children. Extremely family friendly neighborhood with a playground around the block. Janet the owner is very nice and easy to work with. Any questions you may have, Janet responds right away. I would definitely recommend this rental to any family looking to stay in Oak Bluffs.

I can't tell you how much we look forward to the Vineyard vacation every year. What makes it so special is your home. We and family and friends who visit just love it. We especially love sitting on the porch and chatting and catching up with everyone. What you have done to the house is absolutely gorgeous. Lisa and I thank you so much for allowing us to stay there. OMG I can't tell you enough about this big beautiful home.

The communication with the owners, Janet, and her team was excellent and responded quickly to questions.

We arrived early on a cold rainy day with all the wrong clothes on and Janet allowed us to enter 2 hours before. We were soaked from head to toe and so Thankful to get out of the rain with all our belongs. We had plans to sit by the pier and beach until check in which is normal for us.

The amount of rooms, space, outdoor space, 3 bathrooms, pantry/storage, laundry room, outdoor seating for everyone, dinner & kitchen tables plus there are bikes to use in the basement (4 adult, 1 pre teen).

Also, they have coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards to use in the laundry room.

Bring your own sheets, pillows, towels, beach towels.

The flowers, landscaping with rocking chairs, porch were wonderful and you wanted to relax/decompress.

OMG, I almost forgotten the neighbors on both sides were so nice and helpful to us. Thank you so much and your generosity will never be forgotten.

This is a beautiful home in a great location. It looks recently renovated. The furnishings were lovely and all the bedrooms were roomy. We loved the front porch and enjoyed the side yard patio too. The back bedroom on the second floor has an adjoining room that was ideal for our son and his wife who have an 8 month old baby. Between that and the handy back staircase that leads directly into the kitchen no one else was disturbed when the baby woke at the crack of dawn!

A wonderful family home.

This house was amazing! It was the perfect location between Circuit Ave and the beach! We walked to everything!! It was 7+bedrooms and plenty of space for our large group (7 teachers). It was very clean and gorgeous!

You can tell the owners take great pride in this house! Janet (owner) was such a pleasure to work with! She responded promptly to all our questions! This house had everything- we especially loved the beach carts and beach chairs! You really only need towels and linens! We can't wait to rent there again next year!

Beautiful home, spacious and very clean. Close to everything in Oak Bluffs. Loved that we could walk everywhere. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space inside and out -- loved the front porch.

This lovely home was perfect for us! Our two families (9 people total) were very comfortable in this cozy, yet spacious house. It has everything you could need to enjoy your Martha's Vineyard vacation--bikes, grills, AC, beach chairs, outside patio, wrap around porch, etc. We could easily spread out or gather together in different areas. It is an easy walk to the beach or town, making it convenient to enjoy all that Oak Bluffs has to offer. Upon arrival, the home was extremely clean and Janet is an attentive homeowner who was able to address all of our questions and concerns since we traveled during Covid. Our kids are already asking to return next summer!
