A group of professional women spent a week at this lovely vacation home. The owner was very receptive and responsive. Well equipped kitchen, nice amenities and air conditioners!!!

We loved the location. It was perfect for older women to walk to the beach and town. We would definitely do it again if it's available for our annual sorority sisters and friends get together. Mika and Dana have provided things for this house that most rentals on Martha's Vineyard do not. It was wonderful to walk into the rental house with beds already made as opposed to having sheets delivered then making up the rooms. We took full advantage of using all of the beach accessories that are stored by the door closest to the beach! It was also nice to have board games and other things for entertainment on those rainy days.

The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, and appliances. Dana and Mike were very accessible if you have any questions. It was the ideal location for a family vacation. It was steps to the beach and a short walk to Circuit Ave. show more show less

My girlfriends and I have been doing an annual girl's weekend on the Vineyard for the last 5 years. We tried two different locations the first two years and then three years ago found the Flying Seahorse. This is most definitely the place we hope to continue to return to for years to come. The location is amazing. You are one property away from the beach, and just a short 5-10 minute walk to Oak Bluffs.

There is plenty of room for sleeping and an enclosed porch that many of us enjoyed sitting on and reading books. Most of the sleeping area is on the second floor, however, the first floor does have a large bedroom which would be perfect if someone in your party has trouble with stairs (elderly, disabled) or maybe a small baby that you don't want to have to carry up and down.

The owners have been great to work with. The house is cute and decorated in an MV / coastal style. The dining room table was big enough for all of us to sit around and enjoy a lobster dinner with lobsters steamed fresh from the fish market in Oak Bluffs. Honestly this house could work perfectly for both a family (you'd have some extra room) or like we are using it for, a girl's get-away with 8-10 girls. show more show less

Quite possibly the most charming house we've ever stayed in! The pictures really do not do it justice. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were all smiles.

We stayed here for two weeks as part of a working vacation, so being able to walk to Inkwell beach on our lunch breaks was a massive upside. It was also incredibly easy to walk into OB for drinks and food on the nights we didn't take advantage of the amazing kitchen. On top of everything, Mike and Dana are so lovely and stayed in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay.

Our only regret is that there are two of us so the adorable upstairs sleeping arrangements weren't put to good use! We will definitely look to book again with friends and family =) show more show less

Our family has been vacationing at the Vineyard for 17 years and have stayed in a variety of homes. This was the first that had all of the features/amenities for our group of 5-10, depending on the year. Being near town, practically on the beach and having enough room for our now adult children and their friends are our three top criterion and the Flying Seahorse had all three! On top of that, the responsiveness of the Hollman's has been prompt and thoughtful and the home has everything you could possibly need during a week long stay. I was a little nervous about trying this place out because it’s right at the beach, in the heart of Oak Bluffs but I couldn’t find any online reviews. All doubts were put to rest the moment I walked in. The Flying Seahorse is a wonderful treasure. The cottage is beautiful inside. Rooms are spacious and decor is fun and beachy. The location could not be better—a stone’s throw from the beach and short gorgeous walks to town, tennis, basketball courts, playground, the campground and OB marina. The owners are new, a lovely family eager to help and accommodate guests. I would give more stars if I could! show more show less
