    Perfect Vacation Home!

If you're looking for the perfect Martha's Vineyard vacation, this house provides it all!! From the quaint, cottage feel to the outdoor shower and giant wrap around porch, our family has enjoyed this house twice now and would definitely go back again. It is located across the street from a park with a beautiful view of the harbor and boats. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach in one direction and in the other direction, a 5 minute walk to the famous ginger bread cottages and shops and restaurants of downtown Oak Bluffs.

The owner, Rob, is very accommodating and easy to work with. He is always readily available for questions and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The house is clean, well stocked and has plenty of space with its 5 bedrooms, each with its own unique "personality". We cannot say enough good things about our experience there!!

    Location, Location, Location!

I've been staying at this classic for the last four years and you can't beat the location, right off the Marina in East Chop. The house is roomy and comfortable and the owner is a pleasure to work with. As long as he allows it, we will continue to call this house our home away from home.

Charming House, Huge Porch and Great Location

My family (7 adults) spent a week in this charming Vineyard house. The house is nicer than the pictures. We loved the large porch with ample seating for everyone including a hammock and chair swing. There is a large dining table that accommodated 7-11 people playing games nightly. Plenty of spaces to nap, read, chill out or watch movies. The plumbing seems to have been updated with good water pressure, hot water, drainage and a nice washer and dryer. We have rented houses in the past with poor plumbing and it's not fun to try and coordinate bathroom/shower time. The five upstairs bedrooms have fans, some with both ceiling and window fans, and there is an AC unit but we didn't need it.

The location, facing a park, offers great open views with a refreshing breeze from the marina and ample parking. There is a restaurant and market conveniently a one minute walk away and it's four minutes to Circuit Ave. Jetty beach is a five minute walk and perfect for meeting up with our other family members. It was really nice not to have to find parking on beach road over the holiday week.

The owner, Rob, was easy to communicate with and available for us if we had any issues. It was a great family vacation and we will definitely rent this house again for our next Vineyard trip.

What is special about this property?
The siting and design of this 1898 cottage is wonderful. High on a hill on a large open park facing southeast allows for views of Nantucket Sound, Oak Bluffs harbor, Oak Bluffs, the Victorian campground and tabernacle and Sunset Lake from the wrap around deck and many rooms inside. We've kept it as original as possible with convenience upgrades for comfortable vacationing.

What is special about your town?
Oak Bluffs is the most active and fun town on the Vineyard with all island amenities, including remote inland and seaside nature areas within a short walk. The showpiece of the town is the 19th century Methodist campground with over 300 privately owned tiny cottages, most in exquisite condition, surrounding a huge open air tabernacle.
