This home has been ideal for our family two years in a row. The location is perfect with an easy walk to lighthouse beach or to town. The bikes that are available make getting to South Beach easy as well. Sally has been amazing to work with and the house is well appointed for cooking and relaxing. Although we eat out often, the meals we've prepared and eaten at the house have been memorable. We're returning this summer and look forward to many more visits so we can keep enjoying this truly special part of the world. show more show less

We rented this lovely house for 10 consecutive years and shared many happy memories there. The location is fantastic--5 minutes walk to Lighthouse Beach and 5 minutes walk to Edgartown for ice cream, dinner, and shopping. It is three houses off of Edgartown harbor so you can see the sailboats and ferry boats coming in and out easily. The house also had 2 porches for lots of outside dining time and a good-sized backyard.

The owners were a pleasure to work and could not have been nicer. Anytime we had a question, they responded very quickly. It was always the highlight of our summer. show more show less

The perfect spot for four adults to cook or walk to town for dinner! The beach is a short walk and there's an outdoor shower to rinse away all the sand! The cottage has a lovely covered porch for morning coffee, a nice glass of wine, or curling up with a book.

"We had an amazing vacation here this summer. The house was very comfortable, and had the charm that we were looking for. The location was fantastic for several reasons. We could walk everywhere. Having 2 small children it was a perfect spot to be able to walk to Light house Beach, which is on the sound so the waves are minimal if at all. Our boys enjoyed crab fishing there, and exploring all the different sea creature you can easily find! Being able to walk to town for meals, shopping and ice cream was a treat - and just made things that much more low key and relaxing. Edgartown is a beautiful historic town, so walking around is what you would want to do in order to take in all the history and beauty as well. Our experience with the homeowners was very positive. They were very nice to deal with on every level - we could not have asked for a better experience all the way around. It is a very special spot, and we would love to return as much as we can!
