This home has central air conditioning. Cool ocean breezes and the sounds of the surf make this a most pleasant environment. Enjoy sweeping views of the Vineyard Sound, Elizabeth Islands, Cape Cod, and beyond from this meticulously maintained home with many lovely amenities. There are 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and an outdoor shower. It easily accommodates 10 people, depending upon how many people share a room. Dining room and outdoor table seat 10-12 comfortably. Blueberry Hill is also perfect for a couple who prefer one-floor living as there is a primary bedroom suite on the first floor with an ensuite bath. Bedroom/bath configuration: first floor laundry wing with half bath. First floor Queen bedroom with ensuite bath; Second floor: 1 Queen bedroom with ensuite bath; Hall bathroom with shower/tub serves bedrooms 3, 4, & 5. Second floor: two twin bedrooms (with 2 twins each) .with water views; one King bedroom with water views; Bedroom 6 is a small childrens' room that has been converted to an exercise room with an elliptical machine.

It is close to several beautiful beaches. The Parking permit and walk on pass is provided for Lobsterville Beach and boat landing and the Aquinnah shops (only available to residents of Aquinnah). The beach pass for Philbin Beach may be obtained at the Town Hall or at the beach guard's station by presenting the lease. The all-island transport bus stops at the foot of the driveway, and it is an ideal way for teens or those who do not drive to travel around the island. Cook while enjoying one of the premier views on the island! The kitchen is fully equipped with an abundance of cookware and serving ware, vintage china and lovely glassware. The dining table seats 12. The outdoor deck table seats 10-12. There is a full deck and a screened porch in wicker & chintz.

Home is ''hotel ready'' for you: towels, linens, beach chairs, beach towels & umbrellas are provided in ample supply. Beds are made and towels put out in baths and bedrooms. 24-hour answering service to property manager while you are in residence. Five smart TV's, stereo/cd player; DVD player, Central Air Conditioning.

It is available off-season for Thanksgiving. This is a superior vacation rental property set in exquisite natural surroundings. It is perfect for quiet relaxation, comfort and easy, elegant entertaining.

    We have been hosting vacation rentals at Blueberry Hill since 1986. We have had many repeat clients who have enjoyed their experience immensely, some having visited here for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and convenient vacation for our guests in a lovely family home that has matured into a vintage, Vineyard gem. We provide items such as paper products, soaps, laundry supplies to help you settle in and begin enjoying your vacation from the moment you arrive. These are just a few of the personal touches and amenities that we take pleasure in providing for you. We are directly available by cell phone any time you may need something. We want you to feel like family & friends when you are here.

    What is special about this property?
    Blueberry Hill in Aquinnah on Martha's Vineyard is a haven of peace and privacy. Enjoy sublime views over the Vineyard Sound, Elizabeth Islands and over to the mainland coast. This beautiful home was built by Doyle Construction and is about 3,000 sq. ft. with central air. The lush surroundings and exquisite water views are mesmerizing and tranquil. Most bedrooms have wonderful water views and are carpeted for extra quiet. Floor fans are provided for those sleepers who need even more silence. This contemporary cape is sited perfectly for the sunset over the Vineyard Sound and Cuttyhunk, and sunsets are spectacular here. The home has lovely furnishings and accessories and was professionally designed and decorated. It is a family home and is meticulously maintained. It is hotel-ready for guests upon arrival, sparing them the trouble of making up beds and baths. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels are also provided which is a must for people traveling any distance to the island. It has retained its quality and character as it has become a vintage gem over the years. The floor plan allows for good traffic flow, multiple cooks in the kitchen and abundant outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining. It is conveniently located about one mile from Philbin Beach, the Aquinnah Shops and Outermost Inn, and also has access to Lobsterville Beach and the Town landing for charter boating with the parking permit.

    What is special about your town?
    Aquinnah has some of the very best views and sunsets on the island, and the views from both first and second floors here at Blueberry Hill, are extraordinary. Go to Menemsha Fish Market and ask Stanley for the ''Sunset Special'' that is a completely cooked lobster dinner. Take it home and enjoy it on the back deck at Sunset - an unbeatable experience! The parking pass enables guests to enjoy three beaches: Philbin, Lobsterville and the North Shore beach opposite Menemsha Harbor. Charter fishing trips leave from there at the Town Landing or by a quick 5-minute trip across to Menemsha on the foot ferry. Park your vehicle and enjoy a great day out at sea.
    Enjoy Wednesday night ''Pizza Nights'' at the Orange Peel Bakery, or Jazz night at the Aquinnah Cliffs shops.
    An 8-minute car trip to Chilmark takes you to the Chilmark Store - convenient for groceries & sundries as well as excellent take out with a possibility of a surprise Celebrity siting. Chilmark Community Center is open to Aquinnah residents who want to enroll their children in Summer Camp Activities. Sign up for tennis there and take a lesson from the tennis pro, or join a yoga class. The Chilmark Center has a wide array of activities and events during the day or evening for all ages and interest levels. A few miles away is the village of Menemsha, with shops, restaurants, seafood stores, gas station and Menemsha Beach where people love to picnic at sunset. All this and more is readily accessible from Aquinnah.
