From start to finish, this vacation was simply perfect: from the booking process to check-out, the owners provided a very pleasant rental experience. The house was immaculate, beautiful and well-equipped: a level of taste and quality far above most rentals we've seen in the area. The house is spacious and accommodating, each room with its own personality and charm. We had a wonderful vacation at this home and hope to return as soon as possible.

Our family gathered at this amazing home for the first 2 weeks of July and we wish that we could have stayed longer. We can't say enough about the home itself - the photos really do not do it justice. There are beautiful spaces, and enough room, to both gather together or spend time alone - both indoors and out. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furniture is comfortable and welcoming, and the whole home was super clean.

We loved exploring Aquinnah by bike, taking the bike ferry to Menemsha, trying out the different beaches (it's worth it to purchase the additional beach pass to sample ALL the beaches!), or just hanging out at home.

The whole process of renting this home, from our initial inquiry to checking out on the last day was easy, thanks to the homeowners' quick and thorough responses and follow through. We would love to return! show more show less

Large, beautifully decorated house on a quiet dead end of a peaceful dirt road in Acquinnah. 3 couples and 3 small kids had plenty of space. Away from it all, but just a short walk to Lobsterville bay-side beach and 5 minutes by car to the ocean beach. Fully equipped for cooking, eating, and deck sitting for 9 people. The owner was very helpful in answering all questions in advance, and our stay was delightful.

We recently stayed at Aquinnah Skye for a week for a family wedding. It really was a flawless stay! First of all, the home is in an idyllic setting, surrounded by trees and a pond. The deer came by in the morning to say hello, as if to welcome us to each day. The home is an example of superb craftsmanship, post and beam style. It has a beautiful kitchen, complete with a quiet running dishwasher, and a gorgeous gas range/oven and vent hood. There is counter seating for four, with plenty more available in the dining room.

The dining room has a beautiful fireplace with sliding doors onto one of the three decks. Grilling? No problem, as a good size unit is located on the deck just outside the kitchen. The living room is equally spacious, with a sofa and seating around another fireplace. And from that room you can meander out onto a larger deck area, where family and friends can enjoy all of the fresh air of Martha's Vineyard and Aquinnah. If you'd rather sit inside, just off the living room is a sun room, with plenty of plants and windows.

There is a full laundry with an LG washer and dryer, and adjacent to the bathroom is the first floor bedroom. It's perfect for someone who has trouble with stairs. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs, and the master has a great view looking towards Vineyard Sound. There's even a deck upstairs for private relaxation. All guest bedrooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. We had 8 adults staying at one point in time with no overcrowding feeling.

Those who want breezes can enjoy opening up the many windows, or crank open the skylights. There is also A/C/heat if the climate demands some help. The home has a water filtration system and a great outdoor shower!

All in all, we can't say enough about this fantastic vacation home. Lobsterville Beach is a very close walk away. We hope to return and escape to this finely built home/setting in the future. It's an experience we will not soon forget.

Wonderful home. Clean and complete. Kitchen well stocked with everything a cook needs to prepare a gourmet meal. Cozy yet plenty of room to find a quiet spot to read/relax or for all to gather. We highly recommend this home.

Excellent in every way. Very clean, very well-equipped and very well-maintained. You can really see all the care that goes into this home. Our two favorite aspects were the location - so private and so close to the beach - and the charm of the house, which was very appealing - a giant step above all the other rentals we looked at. We would highly recommend this house and would definitely return again.

Great house - clean, spacious, beautiful location and completely private as well as multiple decks and gorgeous landscaping make this an ideal vacation house. the house is meticulously clean, well decorated and comfortable. the kitchen and dining room were perfect for large festive meals. could not recommend this house more highly!
