A Perfect Cottage Getaway in South Yarmouth!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, the cottage exuded a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning strolls and sunset views. We loved the peacefulness of the area, yet it was still close enough to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. It offered the best of both worlds: a quiet, relaxing retreat with plenty to do nearby. The outdoor space was a real highlight for us. We enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the mornings and grilling out in the evenings. The yard was beautifully landscaped and provided a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Cape. The hosts were fantastic, always available if needed and provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. We felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. If you're looking for a cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located spot in South Yarmouth, this cottage is an absolute gem. We can't wait to come back for another stay!

Beautiful home

Close to beach and Rt 28. Nice area for walking and riding our bikes. We had a great week. The house is all updated and the kitchen and bathrooms are very nice.

Our stay was lovely!

The cottage was pristine and gorgeous. You can tell it was intentionally and lovingly decorated and designed. Being a 5 min walk from the beach was wonderful. The guide with recommendations was very helpful in deciding how to spend our days. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering a stay on the Cape!

Brand new, clean, fully outfitted, everything you need. Easy walk to the beach. Great outdoor space for morning coffee and relaxing after the beach. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week on Gilbert Street! The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect; close to the beach and several restaurants and mini golf. Stephen supplied great recommendations, was very responsive and gave us good advice about a day trip to the islands. I highly recommend this adorable cottage!

We had a wonderful vacation at Tinkertown #6. The cottage was sparkling clean & everything was new from the kitchen supplies, furniture, bathrooms, outside shower - absolutely everything! Stephen was a great host, very friendly & responsive to all my questions about his cottage. We could walk to the closest beach & sometimes even get a free parking spot! I highly recommend Stephen's cottage. It was set back from the street & very quiet & relaxing. My husband & I hope to be back next year!

Our Cape getaway was absolutely perfect! Stephen was a phenomenal host who was incredibly responsive. He and his wife went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was top-notch. The unit was elegantly decorated, spotlessly clean, and exuded comfort and brightness. Its prime location near beaches, restaurants, and entertainment made it an ideal spot to explore from. Despite its central position, the unit offered a serene and tranquil atmosphere, tucked away from the bustling streets. Stocked with everything one could possibly need, from beach wagons to an abundance of pillows, our stay was made incredibly convenient. I traveled with my 9-year-old son and 70-year-old mother, both of whom thoroughly enjoyed the experience, proving its appeal across all ages. We created unforgettable memories during our stay and are already eagerly anticipating our next visit!

Additionally, the outdoor shower is a delightful touch, perfect for rinsing off after a day spent at the beach (which was made particularly enjoyable with the thoughtful inclusion of a wagon and beach chairs). Whether you're an early riser looking to catch the sunrise or someone who enjoys evening walks by the shore, this spot is perfect. Nearby, quaint shops and local eateries add to the authentic Cape experience. The owners are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. From providing recommendations to ensuring the home was spotless and well-stocked, their hospitality added to our wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The Perfect Cape Cod Cottage Experience

As a family of three from NYC with a 1-year-old, we sought a comfortable retreat with ample outdoor space and conveniently located near the beach, playgrounds, and restaurants. Our stay at this Cape Cod cottage exceeded our expectations. The charming cottage is just a 5-minute walk from the pristine beach, with sidewalks all the way. The house was squeaky clean and felt newly renovated. The expansive outdoor area was perfect for kids to play and having dinners under the stars. The fully equipped kitchen, with modern appliances and a large walk-in pantry, made meal prep a breeze. The bedrooms were cozy retreats with high-quality linens and mattresses comparable to a 5-star hotel. The fast high-speed Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The cottage is located at the end of a dead-end street, making it safe for kids to play. Convenient all-terrain wagons made it easy to transport beach essentials, and the large yard with fluffy grass and an outdoor shower was a hit. We visited nearby restaurants, waterparks, mini-golf, and playgrounds only minutes from the cottage. The cottage is connected to an identical unit, perfect for two families vacationing together while having their own space. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and responsive, ensuring a memorable stay. Our Cape Cod cottage experience exceeded all expectations, offering a perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We look forward to returning!

The Tinkertown cottage was breathtaking and a five minute walk to the beach. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. There are posts the host put in the ground that make it clear to guests as to where they should park. The yard was groomed and there is a grill on the patio for guests to enjoy. The inside of this cottage was pristine and has a washer and dryer! The outdoor showers looked brand new and this place is beautifully furnished. I highly recommend staying at Tinkertown and am already planning on returning next year.
