When we got to the house everything was as advertised in the listing. It was clean and ready for our stay. Plenty of room, indoor/outdoor cooking options, indoor/outdoor showers, close to the beach, easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. There was a breeding pair of Osprey in a nest 50 feet from the end of the driveway at the top of a telephone pole. Every morning we had our coffee on the outdoor patio and watched the Osprey bring fish to their baby. Wonderful place to stay.

Two restaurants, that were very close, that we liked the best were…For lunch/dinner (and ice cream) is "The Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House" (https://skipperrestaurant.com) 0.9 miles away. For breakfast is "Keltic Kitchen" (https://keltickitchen.com) 1.4 miles away.

Provincetown is about an hour drive from the rental house. We would recommend the Grace Hall Parking Lot (http://www.provincetown-ma.gov/768/Parking-in-Provincetown). Easy in, easy out and a short walk to downtown. On the way to Provincetown is a great place to stop called "Caroline's Bar & Grill" (http://www.carolinescapecodbarandgrill.com) if you like Oysters, Little Necks and/or Shrimp (thank you Jim!). Drop by between 3:30pm to 5:00pm for their "buck a shuck" raw bar. It's about a 40-minute drive from the rental house but on the way to/from Provincetown if you plan you drive accordingly. Just a little further up Route 6 is a place called "Pearl Restaurant & Bar" (https://wellfleetpearl.com) in Wellfleet about 50 minutes from the rental house. They had good food and service as well.

The town of Hyannis is about 25 minutes away from the rental house. We parked at the "Car Park - Pay and Display" lot at 220-234 Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601. It was a bit expensive ($20.00 for 24 hours, only option) but it was very easy in and out and right along Main Street, just head west on Main to start your walk. Also, in Hyannis the high-speed ferry to Nantucket. For information on tickets, departure/arrival times and parking head to the "Steamship Authority" (https://www.steamshipauthority.com) web site. We had a good trip with the Steamship Authority and the ferries were on schedule. "Hy-Line Cruises" (https://hylinecruises.com) also runs a high-speed ferry to Nantucket and Martha Vinyard (we have never tried Hy-Line so cannot speak to their services).

Chatham is about a 30-minute drive from the rental house. We found good (free) parking at the "Chatham Town Parking Lot" (Chatham Town Parking Lot, CHAT, 14D 17, Chatham, MA 02633). We had a good day walking Main Street. There is plenty of shops, restaurants, and things to see. Then we headed over to the "Chatham Pier Fish Market" (https://www.chathampierfishmkt.com) to watch the fishing boats unload their catch. There are usually plenty of gray and harbor seals to watch as well. They eat the scraps coming off the boats, sometimes the fisherman will toss them a fish or two. One item to note is parking can be difficult here.

And the beaches, we spent some time at "Race Point Beach" (https://www.nps.gov/caco/planyourvisit/race-point-beach.htm) while in Provincetown. Visit the National Park Service Cape Cod National Seashore (https://www.capecodchamber.org/things-to-do/beaches) and "Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce" web site for detailed beach information. Of course, there are a couple nice beaches less than 0.5 miles from the rental house. Parkers River Beach (https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/673/Parkers-River-Beach) is across the street from The Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House and Thacher Town Park Beach (61 S Shore Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664) is just a little west of Parkers.

Love the outside shower and the fire pit! House is close to mini golf, restaurant and beaches! We will be back! Thank you!
