We are less than a half hour from almost any other town. Brewster has a great beach that's perfect for tide pools called Paines Creek and a family friendly park called Drummer Boy Park that has a windmill, playground, area to fly a kite, and a small trail to walk. Great for a picnic too. Very nice shopping area nearby as well. Barnstable is also less than a half hour ride with a quiet beach called Millway beach that we highly recommend. Great for shell collecting. Lots of restaurants and shops such as The Dolphin and Nirvana Coffee to check out. Don't forget Just Picked in Yarmouthport which is perfect for souvenirs. Sandwich is also a great town that offers the Heritage Garden and Dunbar Tea Room. Both worth the ride! As well as mini golf and glass blowing.
We highly recommend checking out The Whydah Pirate Museum, Bass River Kayak and Paddle Board Rentals and the new and updated Cuffy's over in Dennis. For incredible sunsets visit Grey's Beach in Yarmouthport or Mayflower Beach in Dennis. We recommend checking out Corporation beach in Dennis too. Plenty of parking, restrooms and snack shop. Tide pools as well! For restaurants we love Captain Parker's Pub, Yarmouth House, Keltic Kitchen, Baxters, Marshside, Clancys, Cleat and Anchor, The Lobster Boat, Scallys, DiPalma's Italian Table, Geradi's Cafe, 908 Bistro, Tugboats, The Black Cat, The Skipper Chowder House restaurant and for special occasions check our The Ocean House with the best views and is only a 12 minute ride. For more incredible views check out Pelham House! For ice cream definitely try Cape Cod Creamery. Also try out the Music Room right down the road for live music and drinks! A few great coffee shops nearby are Scipaccios, Three Fins and Old King's just over the town line in Hyannis, which has the best egg and cheese sandwiches around. For more drives of less than 30 minutes you could visit the Chatham Fish Pier to see the seals as the boats come in. If you are interested in any spa treatments both the The Spa at Chatham Bars Inn and Le Petite Day Spa are highly recommended. Truro Vineyards in Truro has excellent wines for tasting and while in Truro check out Ballston beach! Greys beach as well as Windmill beach are great for kayaking! A public tennis court is only a 2 min drive and basketball courts are less than 7 mins away.
For rainy days we recommend Ryan's family arcade at the skull island mini golf course! The movie theater in Dennis is also a short ride.
