Description

Description

Create beautiful memories...only 250 feet from the sand! Bring the whole family, this beach house sleeps 12 and sits directly across the street from beautiful Seaview Beach and 3 minute walk to Parkers River Beach & playground. Now with new owners, this former bed and breakfast, will be rented as a single vacation home.

This home has 5 large bedrooms and 4 baths. Two of the 1st floor bedrooms have King beds and private baths with showers. The other bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds,(4 twin beds). A full bath with tub is directly across the hall. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with spectacular ocean views and a pillow-top queen mattress. The other large bedroom has 2 twin pineapple beds. Upstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower. There is also a sitting room upstairs with a flat screen TV, - a nice place to hang out and watch TV or read.

Back on the main floor there's a large living room and full kitchen with ocean views. The living room has comfortable leather furniture with a large screen TV on the wall and a gas fireplace. The beach house has extended High Definition cable TV and a DVD player. It has WI-Fi internet service throughout the home as well as a stereo system.

Because of its location, the house has lovely sea breezes blowing throughout the rooms. Outside there is a beautiful flagstone patio with a gas and charcoal grille, and a large patio set with umbrella.

There is a washer and dryer for your use and an outside shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Linens and towels are available for an extra charge.
The property is very close to numerous attractions, (like Pirate's Cove Mini Golf) restaurants, (you can walk to the Skipper for seafood & ice cream!) and shopping all along Rt 28. There are 4 golf courses in the town of Yarmouth alone and many more within a short distance. Enjoy the many South Shore beaches and the bike trails too. This comfortable home is perfect for a fun-filled family vacation!

      Good Time Away From Home

My husband and I arrived at this home at the end of June 2013 and stayed 2 weeks with family that had already been there for one week. We enjoyed the 4th of July holiday here. We had a family cookout and had basically everything we needed to make that happen. The home is in a great location. Very central for everything Mid Cape. We enjoyed runs in the morning along South Shore wrapping around to Sea Street, and it was beautiful. The nights in the home were okay as long as there was a breeze but for the nights without it, Jack had each room supplied with a fan which all of us put to good use. Jack and Linda are good people and they accommodated everything we needed without hesitation.

One of the nicest features of this home is that it is located right across the street from the beach, which not only was great during the day but was great to go across the street and watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or take a walk at night on the beach. We had our parents with us, and this was a huge convenience to them since they cannot stay on the beach as long as others can. Thank you, Jack and Linda, for the use of the home and the great hospitality. Hopefully we will see each other again in the future. All the best!

      Great Vacation

We stayed at this beach house for three weeks and loved it , from the moment we arrived, till the day we left. There was plenty of room for our extended family. Jack & Linda were the nicest couple and anytime a problem accured, , Jack was there to fix or solve it. My parents loved being across the street from the beach, they would go back and forth. A nice touch, was upon arrival, Linda had fresh baked homemade cookies & wine on the kitchen table. Also toward the middle of our stay, she made more cookies for the family members that didn't get to taste the first batch. Those disappeared very quickly. This is our third year renting a different place each time and we think we finally found a place to come back to. We cant say enough about the owners and how nice they were. We hope we can come back next year and for years to come. Thanks Jack & Linda for making our vacation enjoyable. Cant wait to see you both next year. Thanks again !!!!! show more show less

Labor Day weekend - What a wonderful house! Enjoyed our time here throughly! Very relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Loved being right across the street from the beach - great for early morning walks and late evening to watch the sunset. Also loved the outside patio for breakfast and dinners and playing cards late in the afternoon. Bedrooms are comfortable - plenty of room for all of us! Nice outdoor shower too! We hope to come back next summer.

Great spot for a big family!

We recently rented this home for our family. Six adults and four children comfortably slept in this home without even using two of of the upstairs beds! Because this home used to be a B and B, it was big enough that we all had our own private bedrooms and bathrooms; but, could get together in the common areas for games, meals, and tv (when we weren't at the beach).

And, you can't get much closer to the beach! With a bunch of people, it's a lot of work to pack up lunches, fill a big cooler, and drag it half a mile to the beach. Because the beach was so close, it was no problem to pack up our things and carry them over...plus, we ate lunch at the house half the time since it was such a short walk.

The Skipper restaurant is a block away with a nice, public playground across the street. Several times, we took an evening stroll down to the restaurant for food (great chowder...get there early so you don't have to wait in line!) or ice cream, let the kids play on the beachfront playground, and then took the beach route back to the house.

Even in mid-July, there was no traffic on the road (car traffic, that is). This street seems to be runners' heaven; there were people (including my wife) running and riding bikes up and down the road all day long. The house is set back from the road enough that you only notice when you look outside, though.

Even though you're in beach heaven on a quiet street, you're five minutes from Pirate's Cove mini golf course, the zooquarium, several tourist shops, and several close by restaurants, including my grandmother's favorite, Captain Parker's. Ten minutes gets you to plenty more restaurants, Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's for coffee, a Shaws and Stop and Shop for groceries, and more mini golf courses and other activities. Hyannis, with a Trader Joe's, and tons of shopping and restaurants, plus the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory tour, are 15-to-20-minutes away.

When eating at home, the kitchen was plenty big enough for us and we often ate out on the large patio and cooked on the grill. It was hot that week; but we kept plenty cool at night between the ocean breeze and the stand-up fans in every room. The house was very clean and neat and we left it that way before we went home...even though a cleaning person was coming the day we left to prep the home for the next guests.

We didn't need much from the homeowners; but, they were very pleasant to deal with.

We really enjoyed staying here and we will likely return with our family next year!

      Beach lovers dream

Beach lovers dream! Our family spent a week at this fantastic beach house. No stress beach days with the beach across the street. We were able to come back to the house whenever needed. The house was very clean and spacious with two sitting areas for children and adults to enjoy their own space. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio area with with beautiful sea breezes. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been involved in the Home rental business much of our lives. I am a detail oriented person and our beach house is clean, neat and comfortable. We have stocked it with everything you would need for a great vacation. We live here on the Cape and are only a phone call away if the need arises.

What is special about this property?
Our beach house is a very special place and we have been told it has good karma. The home is beachy, comfy, and spacious in a quiet, family orientated area with a beautiful beach just across South Shore Drive. It sleeps 12 comfortably and with 4 bathrooms there’s no waiting in line in the morning! I'm a stickler for cleanliness and our home is nicely decorated with a beach theme dominating the design. It's quintessential Cape Cod !!!

What is special about your town?
South Yarmouth is centrally located on the Cape with many attractions in town or a short drive away. Lots to do for adults as well as children for a great vacation. Beaching, dining, shopping, golf, fishing, boating, hiking, biking and so much more! It's all here!
