Very Clean, Nice quiet neighborhood, great location to walk to the beach. Yard was very well cared for. Loved the outdoor shower and grill. For those that don't travel light, like us, storage is limited, but manageable.

We vacation every year same area, same week and came across this perfect beach cottage to rent and it suited all of out needs. The owner was very nice and accommodating and very easy to work with. We walked to the beach and relaxed for the week.

Everything was clean and well cared for. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us. We will be renting this year as well and are very much looking forward to it.

The house was perfect for our group. The property is very well maintained. The beach is a short and easy walk. We hope to rent it again!

Don't know where to begin
Prior to arrival we asked about the cleaning due to the 2020 virus situation, owner replied with "salt water cures all" and " we have a cleaning company "

We arrived to find moldy dish holder on kitchen counter, moldy bath mat and shower curtain. Trash, tissues, open food bags under and IN the furniture. Showers both had someone's toiletries still in it with used towels. Grill was disgusting and had to buy cooking sheets in order to use on top of grates. Reached out to owner during the week we were there and he informed us that cleaning people move furniture to clean which can't be true with the amount of items we found throughout the cottage. No apology or concern for our happiness.

We left 2 days early as it was so frustrating to "vacation" here.

With heightened risks of this virus, we did not feel it was important to owner to make renters feel safe.

After driving 6 hours to get to Cape Cod I had to clean the house before we could even move our stuff in! The bathroom shower had hair in the drain, and lots of soap scum on the floor, and a moldy looking shower curtain. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks! There was a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The kitchen counters had crumbs all over and even spilled oil and Parmesan cheese on the cutting board. The stove burners were filled with burned crumbs! The fridge was filled with several opened condiment containers, and used butter on a butter dish and the shelves had crumbs all over. The freezer had ice cream boxes left in there. The contract stated to bring your own towels and linens which we did. Upon making the bed there were soiled sheets left on the bed. Lots of bugs and cob webs throughout. The outdoor shower, which was something we want in a rental, was spacious but again several bottles of used shampoo and conditioner left behind. I would say this is more of a camp than a house! When advising the owner upon checking out of the condition of the house and lack of cleaning, he did not seem concerned. In fact he stated there has never been a problem with the cleaning staff and people are just trying to be nice by leaving their left over items behind!! show more show less

While checking to see if this (our favorite rental property) was available again this year, I couldn’t help but come across an “outrageous” review of this property. I am not one to leave reviews, but I was so taken aback that I honestly couldn’t in good conscience NOT leave my own review. Our family(s) from CT have been renting this property for the past seven (7) YEARS!! It is ALWAYS IMMACULATE – trust me, we know immaculate, especially when placing crawling babies on their floors!! The owners are the nicest people you can meet, and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. We were referred to this property by the homeowners’ neighbor many years ago and have been more than thrilled to take occupancy every summer!!

This beautifully-maintained home sits at the end of a lovely cul-de-sac on a professionally landscaped property, and it’s just a 2-3-minute walk down a cozy tree-lined road to beautiful beaches! It’s just as short a car-ride to stores and entertainment, making the rental location ideal. Again, it’s sad, and I absolutely agree with the homeowner, that the “negative” review was obviously a ploy to get money back. Strange too, that their "issues" were presented upon “checkout” and not during occupancy. So sad people are like that!! Again, we can’t say enough about this property and would highly recommend it to any potential renter. It really is beautiful - a true CAPE COD oasis!! Short walk to beach (~7 minutes), clean, nicely decorated, cozy place with decent sized kitchen and great deck for grilling or relaxing. Front porch nice for morning coffee. 'Outdoor shower' was not functional due to pipes broken probably from freezing in winter but not a big deal as we wouldn't have used it anyway, but just FYI.

Great overall value.
