Beautiful and serene spot in Wellfleet with panoramic view of Duck Creek and Marina. Very relaxing and private. The cottage is well-appointed and had everything we needed (including heat and A/C). Walk to town and Marina a plus. If you want a place on the gorgeous Outer Cape, this is it. We would go back in a heartbeat.

This lovely, peaceful and immaculate cottage has it all...spectacular views from inside the house and a wrap around deck, changing tides, all sorts of birds, seals poking their heads up (at high tides), and even a visit from a red fox, which felt quite magical. All this peace and quiet and beauty just minutes, literally, on foot or short drive to good restaurants, lively bars and downtown Wellfleet, which has the feel of a bygone era. And the beautiful, dramatic ocean beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore are only a short drive away.

I have some reluctance to share what feels like my private paradise, but that would be selfish!

The cottage is perfectly situated on an inlet near the Wellfleet pier. The light changes, the tide changes, one has a 260 view while staying in a private, well-appointed cottage. You have peace and quiet and yet can easily stroll (suggest Holbrook Ave to Main Street) to the Wellfleet Village, fantastic fresh seafood at Hatches market, a welcoming library, restaurants; galleries and shops; it has so much to offer. There are events at the Wellfleet Preservation Hall, check out the Historical Society and a terrific farmers market on Wednesday. I like to stroll into town each day to pick up fresh provisions. At low tide walk over to Mayo Beach and take a long walk - tide pools and tiny sea life and oyster fishermen hard at work.

I also highly recommend the classes at Heart Core fitness and Quiet Mind yoga, only a 2 minute walk from the cottage! Everything in Wellfleet couldn’t be more convenient as everyone couldn’t be more friendly. And on a not too hot a day, pack a lunch, water and sunscreen and a take 3-5 hour hike around the Great Island, a short drive from the cottage. Beautiful!

So this is what you have - a well appointed, comfortable cottage in a perfect location for beauty, quiet, convenience, access to everything the Cape offers - a big slice of heaven.

If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable spot with a great view of the harbor, then this is it. Perfect for a couple looking to relax. We look forward to the opportunity of renting it again.

My husband & I loved every minute of our stay. The cottage is spacious, bright & very clean. The view of the water from the living room is unbelievable. Every day we saw blue herons, terns, swallows & the ospreys fishing as the tides came in and out. You can walk to town, the pier and many restaurants. Kayaking in the area was also very beautiful. The flowers surrounding the cottage add a very colorful touch. Hated to see the week end, and can't wait to go back.
