Our cottage sleeps 5 people, has a well-equipped kitchen, a screened-in porch, and a working fireplace for those cool evenings in late summer or early fall. There is a spacious outdoor shower, a deck, a charcoal and a gas grill and lovely perennial plantings and shady locust trees.

Our cottage is one of seven in a charming old Cape cottage community.

Our cottage is a short drive or bike-ride to a number of attractions including the Cape's last Drive-In Movie theater, live performances at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (W.H.A.T.), The Harbor Stage Theater, magnificent ocean beaches, the Audubon Sanctuary, the Rail Trail, fresh-water kettle ponds, live music at a number of restaurants and bars, the famous French pastries of P.B. Boulangerie and Bistro, and numerous galleries and restaurants of downtown Wellfleet.

If you ever want to leave Wellfleet, you are only a short 20 minute drive from Provincetown where you'll find art galleries, fishing, whale watching, restaurants, and night life.

Please Note: This indeed a cozy cottage. It is a small, rustic, efficiency cottage, only 600 square feet in total. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with about 20 inches around it on three sides. Neither of the bedrooms have closets, but there are plenty of hooks to hang clothes on. Many people feel our cottage reminds them of the old Cape, when things were simpler, smaller, more rustic. If you are looking for a new, large, shiny rental, this may not be your cup of tea. If you are looking for a charming throw back to an earlier simpler time, then our Cozy Cottage may be just the bit of old Cape Cod you've been dreaming of.

For those that know the area, this cottage was once one of the many cottages that line the bay shore in Truro, it was moved in the 1950's (along with others on the property) and expanded over the years. It more spacious than it seems in the pictures and would be a great place to book with a small group of friends. Everything was very clean and it's well stocked with many necessities. The owner was very responsive and friendly. We'll certainly be back (we've already discussed it, in fact). Lovely place in every regard! show more show less

We stayed here as a family of three in August '24. It fit our needs perfectly and we are already looking at coming back for next year. The house is so cute and well appointed - the kitchen, the cd and game collections, a gas and charcoal grill outside, a French press and a drip coffee maker, an outdoor shower, quality pots and pans. It really hit the spot for a relaxing week long get away. Thank you so much!

This lovely cottage sits in a very quiet neighborhood just off of Highway 6 in Wellfleet, MA. You'll enjoy the night on a very private deck listening to crickets in the back yard. The cabin itself is well appointed with three sleeping areas, plus a pull out couch, an amazing outdoor shower, and a working fireplace for those cool Cape nights. You have quick access to several beaches on the ocean and bay side of Cape Cod. Forget the world if you want, wi-fi is available, but there is no TV to distract you from seals and sunsets on a variety of sandy beaches. This is one of the nicest places that I have stayed and I hope to come back soon.

We loved this simple, small cottage. Quaint and absolutely clean - great little deck and outdoor shower. Well equipped kitchen. Pure cape with no TV! Hooray! And quiet location with walking access to beach and drive to nearby attractions. Perfect for a couple - or couple with small child. Tiny rooms. We are definitely returning to this 'find' for a relaxing vacation.

This cottage was a lovely, relaxing place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A small cottage in a wooded, quiet area, though not far from several small cottages in the same complex. I was there by myself half the time and felt very safe and was then joined by a friend, and it was fine for two people. Loved the bike path nearby, the PB Boulangerie, and several of the beaches, and the hosts were friendly and responsive.

This is a cute, cozy cabin for a small family or couple. It's well stocked with everything to have a good time. It would be fun to rent for a week in the summer. My only complaint is that linens and towels are not provided which, for us, was quite inconvenient since we flew in from the West Coast and arrived late on a Sunday evening.

The cottage is very nice, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. It is great for 2 people and a child. Outside shower works well- indoor shower needed some work which owner was going to address. Owners are very responsive- neighborhood very quiet!

The Cozy Cottage has a selection of classic board games, a collection of books featuring local cape authors and good beach reads, as well as an eclectic collection of CDs. For those who don't want to fully unplug, we have WiFi Internet and a Bose stereo. Our cottage sleeps 4 people, has a good sized well-equipped kitchen, a screened-in sleeping porch, and a working fireplace for cool evenings in late summer or early fall. The yard includes a wonderful outdoor shower, a deck, charcoal grill, peeks to the marsh, lovely perennial plantings, and a hammock under the shady locust trees. The Cozy Cape Cottage is perfect place to unwind on your next Cape Cod vacation.

The cottage, built sometime in the early 1940s, was originally located in Truro and was moved in the 1950s to the present cottage colony on Pilgrim Spring Road.

What is special about your town?
Our cottage is a short drive or bike ride to all of Wellfleet's attractions, including the Cape's last classic Drive-In Movie theater, live performances at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (W.H.A.T.), magnificent ocean beaches, sheltered bay beaches, the Audubon Sanctuary, the 26-mile Rail Trail for biking, fresh-water kettle ponds, live bands nightly at the Beachcomber, the famous French pastries of PB Boulangerie and Bistro, and all the galleries and restaurants of downtown Wellfleet. If you ever want to leave Wellfleet, you're only a short 20-minute drive from Provincetown where you'll find art galleries, fishing, whale watching (go see the whales!), restaurants, and night life.
