This beautiful, Cape-style home was custom built in 2017 specifically for your family vacation! A 5 minute walk (2/10 mile) to Main Street, Wellfleet, where you can visit the many galleries, restaurants and quaint shops. Just around the corner from the local library and Oysterfest. The town pier, playground, skate park, tennis courts, and Mayo Beach (where no beach sticker is required) are all also within one mile.

First floor includes: a large primary (queen) en suite with a sitting area, walk-in closet and master bath with soaking tub, custom tile shower, and double vanity and private back yard deck (with lounge chairs); laundry room; living room with a gas fireplace; large, open dining room and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with large (5 seats) island and Italian marble countertops. First floor also includes an additional bathroom with a tile shower right off the sunny backyard deck (with dinning set and grill).

Upstairs includes a large family loft with entertainment center and sectional couch; a second en suite with a queen bed, sitting area, walk-in closet and large bean bag chair that opens into a queen size mattress. The loft and ensuite each have a slider to a large balcony deck which overlooks the ridge and marsh. The third bedroom (upstairs) has a full size bed. There's a large, Jack and Jill bathroom with a full bath, double vanity and a separate toilet room with easy access from each bedroom.

Sleeps 7-8

The whole house is fully equipped with central air conditioning, new furnishings and everything you can imagine in the kitchen, including a double wall oven (one convection/speed/microwave), 6-range top stove, dishwasher and large fridge/ freezer drawer with filtered water. There’s an outdoor shower with bench seat. The upper and lower porches and outside deck are fully furnished with lounge chairs, couches, table and bistro sets. The backyard grill includes propane.

There is a backyard fire pit, fully stocked with everything including s'more ingredients and roasting sticks.

This home does sit high on a hill and can only be accessed via stairs. Young children, elderly or handicapped not recommended.

Complimentary high-speed internet access, cable television & Netflix.

No smoking and no pets.

Complimentary paper products, staple foods and linens (all beds, plenty of towels, including beach towels) provided.

Complimentary beach and baby equipment.

    Hidden Gem

    This house is a hidden gem on a conveniently located cul de sac. It is within walking distance to the town and to the pier. Access to the beach is simple, quick and without the typical traffic congestion.

    The house itself is just beautiful! The warm decor promotes a welcoming feeling. The updated kitchen and baths add luxury! The front porch offers a tranquil place for reading, conversing, or watching the two turkeys who seemed to roam the front lawn during our stay. The back yard with the grill, eating table and lounge chairs offers a respite perfect for throwing a football or frisbee, or playing can jam or bocce ball.

    The owner, Catrina was a pleasure to work with as she was both easy to talk to and accessible.

    We hope to return to Wellfleet and this house to create additional fond memories.

    I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay at the "Newcomber - a 'fleet retreat" and appreciate your kind review. Yes, the Wellfleet beaches are well worth the traffic, but it sure is nice not to have to endure it. This summer the weather has been fantastic, but even in the cooler, off-season weather, the wrap-around sand dunes protect the back yard from the Cape Cod wind, making it a great place to enjoy a sunny barbecue. Come again when you can!

    As Good as it Gets

    This did not feel like a vacation "rental". It felt like visiting a friend's home for a week. The house was impeccably clean and all of the furnishings were up to date and in perfect condition. The home was incredibly well stocked with everything you could ask for - particularly the kitchen. It was obvious that the owner cared about her guests. The neighborhood was very quiet and a short walk into town. We made great use of the front porch for conversation and the rear deck for evening dinners. Lastly Catrina was very kind and accommodating to our various requests. This place gets five stars. We made reservations for next year a day after we left. show more show less

    I am thrilled that you felt as if you were in a friend's home! It is my hope that guests have everything they need to help them relax and enjoy a clean, uncluttered, peaceful environment. Life can be so stressful and I feel that packing for a vacation should not add to that. I know the last thing I want to do when I finally get away is make beds or shop for things I don't want to have to take home, so I try to do the little things that I would do for a friend who needs a break.

    Our family has rented houses in Welllfleet for years and this rental tops all. The front porchare set up high to catch a breeze and a view while the back yard patio is cozy and well outfitted. The interior is both beautiful and functional. Being able to walk to town yet retreat to the back of a quiet neighborhood is lovely. We will be returning!

    Wellfleet has a lot to offer and a great place to get away and relax!
    We are "sun chasers" so we enjoy the porches, too. We love morning coffee on the farmer's porch with the rising sun, and the top deck to cool down on hot afternoons, but the backyard deck is my favorite. With the sand dunes wrapping around to protect from wind and create privacy, I love to lay out on the lounge chairs to get full sun even in the cooler off-season.

    Love the house!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We especially enjoyed the well equipped kitchen for our family meals. The location is great--close to Wellfleet Center but off the main roads. The owner could not have been more helpful. We will definitely rent again!

    Perfect Wellfleet vacation home

    Property is in excellent condition with everything you could need provided. Wonderful level yard for kids to play in. Large deck with outdoor dining and grill. Interior of home is beautiful and can very comfortably accommodate a family or mid-sized group.

    Tucked into a quiet part of town but easy walk into town and very convenient to beaches and everything Wellfleet has to offer. We look forward to returning.

    New, clean and perfect!

    This place is so well thought out. The kitchen is open to a huge table that fit our entire family. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom even has heated tile floors! Our morning coffee in front of the fire place was the topping on the cake. We will return!!
