On Lt.Island in South Wellfleet directly overlooking Loagy Bay with a waterfront view of the incoming and outgoing tide our home is one of a limited number of houses on the only Island in Cape Cod Bay that is connected to the mainland of the Cape a by a causeway (other than at High Tide) or by Boat.Our house on the Island had extensive renovations to the kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms in 2023. The Island’s unique location means that it has less human presence than most parts of the Cape. However there are wonderful fauna and flora on the Island and the marshes that surround it East side. The Beaches on the Island are private and much less occupied than the major public beaches.

It is a five minute walk from our home to Lt.Island’s Boathouse Beach for swimming and boating and a 10 minute drive to Wellfleet's Ocean Beaches. Our 3 bedroom beach house sleeps a Maximum of 7: there are two bedrooms with Queen Beds and one bedroom with two twin beds, and a rollaway cot provides for an additional guest. We offer a very well equipped kitchen for vacation cooking and there is a vast Comcast Cable TV choice including HBO ,WiFi Internet and local and long distance telephone service . Two decks and a screened porch add to the attraction of our very well furnished home. There are two newly renovated full bathrooms with two showers, three vanities and an outdoor shower. The cleaning fee is included in the rental fee.

Our home is pet friendly for one dog per renter with a $1000 refundable security deposit or $750 without a pet. We request half of the rental fee as a deposit when making the reservation with the second half of the rental fee, the short term rental taxes and the security deposit due 90 days prior to the date of the rental week, Deposits are refundable for up to 90 days prior to the start of the mental if the rental period is rented following a cancellation of the reservation with a 15% administration fee on the deposit. read more show less
