I so enjoyed staying at this quaint cottage. It has everything you need. My view from the dining table and bedroom was spectacular! I could walk to the small beach area and all the way into the village by way of Uncle Tim's Bridge. I will definitely be back next year, can't wait.

Loved this cottage. It was close to the town of Wellfleet with views of Wellfleet harbor. Close to Marconi Beach and the bike rail trail. Newer kitchen cabinets and countertops. Newer floors. Comfortable beds. Air conditioner unit in kitchen/living area, and fans in every room. Good for a couple or couple with a child. Recommend! Hope to go back, maybe in the fall next time!

This was our second week stay at Cook's Cottage during the 2021 season. The location, amenities, views and cleanliness of the cottage is second to none.
Emelia is an absolute joy, and is incredibly responsive.
We have already booked for the 2022 season.

We loved our two week stay in "Cooks Cottage" this August. Our family of three especially enjoyed the harbor views, the .5 mile walk via Uncle Tim's Bridge to town and evening meals on the screened in porch. The host was gracious and accessible the couple of times we had questions. The location is perfect for bouncing between bay, ocean and the ponds. We are already looking forward to returning next summer!

Cape Cod at its best. The view is second to none. Emilia, the owner, has thought of everything to make your vacation a pleasant one. She provides, wi fi, alarm clocks, flashlights, a backup key and a well appointed kitchen, as the tide changes at the beach ( 2 minute walk) there are striped bass and bluefish. If you are lucky you might spot an Ocean Sunfish. Easy ride to PTown or Orleans and Chatham. The screened in porch is a real bonus. The sunsets are magical! Vacationing with a three-year-old is not easy and yet, Cook's Cottage offered a perfect place for me, my husband, and our daughter to enjoy a family vacation. We stayed a week and enjoyed exploring the many beaches and ponds (and ice cream shops) that were just a short drive or bike-ride away. The screened-in-porch, out-door grill, and well-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to enjoy meals. Important to us - the beds were comfortable and the spot was quiet at night. The weather was particularly hot during our stay but with the sea breeze coming in from the windows and fans in every room, we stayed comfortable. Highly recommend! show more show less

The view is exactly like the picture and can be seen from the living room or one of the bedrooms. it is a short walk to the beach, and the people you meet are really friendly. We caught two striped bass off the beach in just a couple minutes of fishing. One was almost a keeper. The beach is suitable for people of all ages. You can sunbathe while the children are playing in the sand. The walk to town over the sand and Uncle Tim's Bridge is a great asset for the mildly adventurous. Another bonus is the bands that play at the Pearl. Although you can hear them it is in the background. There are concerts in the dock area in the summer that you could listen to on the beach if you wanted. The sunsets are awesome and easy to watch from the living room or out on the lawn.The parking area is very generous even with our 17 ft. skiff in tow. Inside, the fans are very nice to have on a warm day making the experience a pleasure. The compact appliances are excellent for a small cottage. An issue we have found to be common in cottage rentals is a musty odor, but not here. I suspect that is due to the openness of the underside of the cottage. it was fun watching the rabbits and the chipmunks going about their business. This was our second year renting this cottage. We loved it so much last year, we couldn't wait to make the return trip. The porch and yard are the perfect spot to relax, have a few drinks and soak in the beautiful view. The location is also perfect because you can cross Uncle Tim's Bridge and visit the town. There are many great places to eat, drink and shop in Wellfleet. Emilia is so accommodating, she goes above and beyond. Looking forward to many returns.

My husband, 6 month old and I stayed at Cook's Cottage and it was perfect! We needed time to relax and this cabin was great. We had lazy days filled with reading, sleeping and taking walks to town. I love to cook and was able to go to Hatch's Fish Market to pick up seafood for dinner each night. We used public transportation to get there, but next time I would rent a car to be able to explore more. Emilia was an ideal host. She was available if we needed anything and gave us a lot of information about Wellfleet. Our time with her was one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to visit again sometime. show more show less

This cottage was perfect for our vacation. It is set in a wonderful location with great views of the harbor and a stone's throw to Cahoon Hollow, our favorite beach. There was plenty of space for my family of three, and the kitchen had everything you could need for a happy hour in the screen porch or a scrumptious grilled dinner after beach going. I would recommend the cottage. Great price with a superb location.
