We are repeat visitors to this very comfortable and spacious home. The private setting and room layout is perfect for our family of 8, which includes 3 adult couples and 2 young children. The property is perfectly located, with a short hike into town for shopping and restaurants, a quick drive to the Pier for casual dining and local events, and a convenient drive to all the Wellfleet beaches. We frequent the National Seashore beaches for sun, dunes, and surf; the Bay beaches for calmer waters, seashells, and sunsets; and the ponds for warmer swimming, especially for our younger constituencies.

The owner couldn’t be more attentive to and accommodating of any/all our requests. Our trips here are enjoyed by all, who represent an age span from toddler to senior. At the end of our stay, our unanimous thoughts are .. “til next time”. Our family time in this home will always hold a special place in the annals of our family memories.

I recently had the opportunity to stay here and am already making plans to return. The layout of the house lends to a casual and social atmosphere for large and small group activities. The sunroom and deck are perfect for outdoor dining with a spectacular view. The proximity to beaches, bike trails and the best lobster are so convenient you don't have any "tourist traffic" to contend with. It's all about Rest and Relaxation with the people you love!

After a fun filled day playing golf, lounging at the beach or exploring the Cape, there was nothing better than to come back to this beautiful home to relax on the deck with a glass of wine. The evenings were wonderfully peaceful. Despite having a large number of family members in one place at one time, we never felt like we were ‘on top of each other’, because there was plenty of room for all. Even the gardens offered privacy! The photos do the home justice. It is extremely well kept and well stocked. I highly recommend Susan’s home and am personally planning my next Escape to the Cape!

As we've said to Susan, this is a wonderful home and just right for our family. Having vacationed in Wellfleet for more than 45 years, this is the best home we have ever experienced.

Gorgeous, airy, well-kept house. Short drive to everything. Nice deck with great view for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Open, modern kitchen with multiple eating areas (large dining room table, kitchen bar, screened in porch). Easily accommodates two families and is very kid-friendly. If you have the misfortune of a rainy day, enough room to avoid stepping on each other's toes. Nicely kept grounds. Didn't stay in the apartment above the garage, but it's as nicely kept as the main house and perfect for one or two people.

Susan is friendly, accommodating and responsive. I wish every rental were as nice and clean as this one. show more show less
