Originally the ''coal room,'' the space has been transformed into a bright, clean retreat, preserving its charming architectural details and antique touches. Your private entrance, located on the side of the house, welcomes you into an open kitchen and sitting area, where three large windows offer lovely views of a spacious backyard and an undeveloped hillside.

To your left is the cozy bedroom, furnished with a comfortable queen bed and a smart TV, allowing you to stream your favorite apps. The bedroom retains its original beadboard walls and ceiling, maintaining the character of the home. A locked door in the bedroom leads into a closet, which then connects to the part of the house where I live with my sons (ages 16 and 20) year-round. This closet serves as a sound buffer.

The apartment is perfectly located within walking distance of Pond Village Beach (Cold Storage Beach) on the bay side, and a short bike ride away from Head of the Meadow and Coast Guard beaches on the ocean side. Situated in the heart of North Truro, you’ll be just diagonally across from Salty Market, Captain’s Choice restaurant, and the flex bus stop. Truro Vineyards is a 5-minute walk down the street, and Provincetown is just 7 miles away.

    My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Erica's. The place is charming and nicely decorated with antiques. Ample linens, pillows, and bedding are supplied. It is easy to walk to a beach and the area is "classic cape" with wildlife, foliage, and an ocean feel. The apartment feels very private, with a beautiful back yard area. We could not have been more pleased with Erica's place, and we hope to return one day.
